An adjustable shelving assembly and a support structure for supporting the adjustable shelf assembly. The adjustable shelf assembly may include at least one extension shelf unit, slidably oriented with respect to a central shelf unit such that the width and/or depth of the shelf may be adjusted. The adjustable shelf assembly may be adjusted without removing the shelf from the accompanying support structure or causing the central shelf unit to be moved. The adjustable shelf assembly may also include structure for receiving advertisements, product identifiers or the like.

Adjustable shelving system

An adjustable shelving unit that may be adjusted by increasing or decreasing the width or depth of the unit and may be adjusted to be in either a horizontal orientation or a forward sloping orientation. The adjustable shelving unit may include a central shelf unit and at least one extension shelf unit. The extension shelf unit may be oriented in a sliding manner with respect to the central shelf unit to permit the adjustment of the width or depth of the shelf by extending or retracting the extension shelf unit with respect to the central shelf unit. Attachment members extending from the central shelf unit allow the shelf to be mounted in either a horizontal or a forward sloping orientation.

Adjustable shelving unit

An adjustable shelf assembly for displaying product. The shelves can be oriented in horizontally or in a forward sloping position with a simple adjustment. The shelves are generally rectangular and comprise upper and lower mounting pins located on each side of the shelf, extending downwardly from the rear edge of the shelf. The mounting pins are vertically spaced and slightly offset from one another. The mounting pins are used to mount the shelf on a support frame comprising a plurality of openings along the vertical members of the frame. The upper mounting pins are placed in first openings along the frame. The lower mounting pins are positionable either flush against the front surface of the vertical members to position the shelf in a horizontal orientation or inside second openings along the frame to position the shelf in a forward sloping orientaion.
