A technique includes deploying an untethered object though a passageway of a tubular member; and acquiring a plurality of measurements that represent an environment of the tubular member as the object is being communicated through the passageway. The technique includes cross-correlating the plurality of measurements and using results of the cross-correlating to identify at least one feature of the tubular member.

Autonomous untethered well object

A technique facilitates downhole service operations including cementing operations. A retrievable cementing bushing is designed to facilitate the service operation and includes a body on which is mounted an engagement lug. The engagement lug is mounted for movement in a radial direction and includes an outer engagement feature and an inner engagement feature. The inner engagement feature is oriented for cooperation with a slick joint. The engagement lug is biased in a radially outward direction for engagement with corresponding features of a surrounding wall.

Retrievable cementing bushing system

A downhole rotary diverter assembly includes multiple passages for selectively aligning with multiple boreholes. The diverter assembly can be selectively actuated to direct a tool or tubing through-passage toward a desired borehole. The primary tool through-passage of the diverter assembly can be alternately and continually aligned and re-aligned with a desired borehole out of multiple boreholes, while the diverter assembly remains in the well. After a single trip into the well, and placement of the diverter assembly in a well junction, the diverter assembly can be actuated to rotate flow passages into alignment with multiple boreholes. An actuation tool may be lowered into the diverter assembly and manipulated to activate a mandrel. The mandrel is guided by an indexing mechanism to rotatably cycle through discrete and predetermined alignment positions that correspond generally with the stop positions of a guide pin in a guide slot of the indexing mechanism.

Downhole multiple bore rotary diverter apparatus

A production tubing assembly for accessing multiple boreholes. The assembly includes an outer shroud having an axial throughbore, a deflector disposed in the axial throughbore and releasably coupled to the outer shroud. At least two tubular members are releasably coupled to the deflector by extendable latch assemblies, wherein the deflector with the coupled tubular members is extendable from within the outer shroud to a position beyond the outer shroud. Additionally, in the extended position, the latch assemblies extend to release the tubular members and latch the deflector to the outer shroud.

Multiple production string apparatus

A tubing assembly for entering multiple boreholes includes an outer shroud having an axial throughbore, and an inner tubular member disposed in the axial throughbore, wherein the tubular member is releasably coupled to the shroud, and wherein the outer diameter of the shroud is adjustable. A tubing assembly for entering multiple boreholes may also include a shroud having an axial throughbore, a movable tubular member disposed in the axial throughbore, and a releasable coupling between the shroud and the tubular member, wherein the releasable coupling includes a retracted position allowing entry of the tubing assembly into a junction between two boreholes, wherein the releasable coupling includes an expanded position allowing movement of the tubular member relative to the shroud and prevents re-entry of the tubing assembly into the junction.

Downhole multiple bore tubing apparatus

A multifunction seat control system includes a pulley mechanism in an enclosure, an actuation shaft to attach an external handle, and multiple latch actuation cables. The pulley mechanism includes multiple circumferential slots in which the cables ride, and cable-end entryways through which associated cables ends can be inserted. A lockout device detects a seat-back position to selectively limit the rotational travel of the pulley mechanism. The pulley mechanism is rotationally actuated to a predetermined angle to release a seat-back latch so the seat back can recline or fold forward, and beyond the predetermined angle to release seat-bottom latches so the seat can tumble into a stowage configuration. The control system optionally includes a headrest cable to release a headrest as the seat back is folded forward, and a release strap to actuate the pulley mechanism from behind the seat.
