Described is a medicament container carrier adapted to hold a first medicament container having a first predetermined size and capable of containing more than a first volume of a medicament. The container carrier comprises a body, and an adapter coupled to the body. The adapter is adapted to hold a second medicament container having a second predetermined size different from the first predetermined size and capable of containing no more than the first volume of the medicament.

An inhaler includes a main body having a canister housing, a medicament canister retained in a central outlet port of the canister housing, and a dose counter having an actuation member for operation by movement of the medicament canister. The canister housing has an inner wall, and a first inner wall canister support formation extending inwardly from a main surface of the inner wall. The canister housing has a longitudinal axis X which passes through the center of the central outlet port. The first inner wall canister support formation, the actuation member, and the central outlet port lie in a common plane coincident with the longitudinal axis X such that the first inner wall canister support formation protects against unwanted actuation of the dose counter by reducing rocking of the medicament canister relative to the main body of the inhaler.

A dose counter for an inhaler includes a counter display arranged to indicate dosage information, and a drive system arranged to move the counter display incrementally in a first direction from a first station to a second station in response to actuation input. A dose counter for a metered dose inhaler includes an incremental counting system for counting doses. The incremental counting system has a main body, an actuator arranged to be driven in response to canister motion and to drive an incremental output member in response to canister motion. The actuator and incremental output member are configured to have predetermined canister fire and count configurations in a canister fire sequence. The canister fire configuration is determined by a position of the actuator relative to a datum at which the canister fires medicament and the count configuration is determined by a position of the actuator relative to the datum at which the incremental count system makes an incremental count. The actuator is arranged to reach a position in the count configuration at or after a position in the canister fire configuration.

An inhaler including a medicament-containing vessel; an actuator body for receiving the vessel and having a medicament delivery outlet, wherein the vessel is releasably attachable to the actuator body; a dose counter integrated into the actuator body; and a first indicium on the vessel and a second indicium on the actuator body, wherein the first indicium and the second indicium identify the vessel and the actuator body to be part of the same metered-dose inhaler. Also provided is a kit including the metered-dose inhaler and at least one pair of stickers and a method for manufacturing the metered-dose inhaler.
