A method for providing dynamic group call among a group of users both wireless (-) and wireline () places the selectability of the call in the hands of an originating user (). An originating user () may make a fixed number of entries (). The originating user () can create a dynamic group call, add a group call list for later execution, add a member to the group call list, or create a dynamic group call list and immediately execute a group call (). The method for dynamic group call also provides for selecting a time to live for each group call entry () in database (). This parameter time to live is directly selectable by the originating user () or the server. In addition, any member to a previous or existing group call may rejoin or reestablish the dynamic group call ().

Method for dynamic group call

A network () of a telecommunication system () receives requests () for feature transfers from one user () to another user (). In addition, network initiated feature transfer marks a call agent () for feature transfer. Subsequent call attempts from a call agent () are redirected () by the network.

Method for feature transfer in a telecommunication network

A communication system () includes an aircraft () that acts as a repeater between ground equipment () and communication units () on the ground. The ground equipment () includes multiple base transceiver stations () that provide traffic channels, control channels, and access channels. The channels are all in a single beam () projected from aircraft (). Relative loading on access channels is influenced by access class lists (, FIG.) assigned to control channels. Access classes can be transferred from one list to another, or they can be removed from a list. Relative loading of traffic channels on the base transceiver stations is influenced by assigning different time offsets to base transceiver station so that calls can be transferred from one base transceiver station to another.

The voice signaling gateway () provides group call and call back services among iDEN network () users () and a number of other various networks () users (). The voice signaling gateway has packet data interface () and web interface () In an alternate embodiment of the invention, an integrated applications server () is added to the voice signaling gateway () to provide group call services. A packet prioritization and transmission algorithm for on demand transportation of data packets having different priorities through a shared packet pipe. The algorithm comprises prematurely ending the transmission of a packet having a low priority; placing the remainder of the packet having the low priority in a storage means, holding data of the packet having the low priority in the storage means, transmitting a packet having a high priority, transmitting the remainder of the packet having the low priority once the packet having the high priority is finished transmitting, flagging a packet header of a packet having the low priority to identify pending packets to allow for transmission of packets having the high priority; and determining a priority of an incoming packet.
