This disclosure provides apparatus that includes kits and systems for connecting together a plurality of tables, having a plurality of elongated foot members that include a plurality of table leg connectors that are connectable to the lower ends of legs of a plurality of tables.

Table benching apparatus and methods of using the same

The present invention concerns a keyboard support for movably supporting a keyboard with respect to a work surface of a workstation. The keyboard support includes a workstation engaging member adapted to be attached to an underside of the work surface, a keyboard engaging member for supporting a keyboard, and a linkage assembly mechanically coupling and providing relative movement between the workstation engaging member and the keyboard engaging member and thereby between the keyboard and the work surface. The keyboard support also includes a braking assembly adapted to allow relative movement of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member in an unlocked position and to prevent relative movement of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member in a locked position. The braking assembly comprises a roller assembly carried on a connector of the linkage assembly. The roller assembly is biased against a wedge affixed to a vertical side of the keyboard engaging member.

Height and tilt adjustable keyboard support

A keyboard support having a generally flat keyboard supporting surface and a track extending along an outer periphery of the keyboard support. A mouse support has a generally flat mouse supporting surface and is coupled to the keyboard support by a track follower that engages the track for movement along the track. A coupling arm engages the track follower and allows pivoting of the mouse support with respect to the keyboard support.

Keyboard and mouse support

A keyboard support including: a workstation engaging member adapted to be attached to an underside of the work surface; a keyboard engaging member disposed forwardly of the workstation engaging member for supporting a keyboard; a linkage assembly mechanically coupling and providing relative movement between the workstation engaging member and the keyboard engaging member; and a tilt gauge assembly to indicate a tilt angle of the keyboard engaging member, the tilt gauge assembly including a parallelogram linkage defining a longitudinal axis, the parallelogram linkage including stationary member affixed to the keyboard engaging member that pivots with the keyboard engaging member with respect to the upper connector and a movable member tangent to the lower connector, wherein changing the tilt angle of the keyboard engaging member causes a distance along the longitudinal axis between the stationary member and the movable member to change.

A keyboard support for movably supporting a keyboard with respect to a work surface of a workstation. The keyboard support includes a workstation engaging member adapted to be attached to an underside of the work surface, a keyboard engaging member for supporting a keyboard, and a linkage assembly mechanically coupling and providing relative movement between the workstation engaging member and the keyboard engaging member and thereby between the keyboard and the work surface. The keyboard support also includes a braking assembly adapted to allow relative movement of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member in an unlocked position and to prevent relative movement of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member in a locked position. The braking assembly comprises a roller assembly carried on a connector of the linkage assembly. The roller assembly is biased against a wedge affixed to a vertical side of the keyboard engaging member.

A keyboard and mouse support includes a keyboard support body and a mouse support. The keyboard support body includes a throughpassage that passes through the support body and opens on opposite sides of the support body. The keyboard support body also defines a support surface configured to accommodate a keyboard. A back side of the keyboard support includes a back wall defining an arcuate slotted document holder and a pair of passageways for receiving a keyboard cord. A moveable mouse support fits within a portion of the throughpassage of the support and extends outwardly from the support to define left and right hand mouse support surfaces. The mouse support includes an upwardly protruding elongated bead spaced inwardly from a rearward edge of the mouse support. The bead prevents a mouse placed on either of the two mouse support surfaces from sliding off the back edge of the mouse support if the mouse support is inclined at a negative angle. A wrist support is affixed to an upper support surface of the keyboard support body using a plurality of ball catch type fasteners. In one preferred embodiment, the keyboard support body includes an injected molded plastic upper piece and a stamped metal lower piece which are affixed by mechanical fasteners.

Computer keyboard and mouse support having moveable mouse extension

A keyboard supporting member has a generally planar keyboard support surface whose orientation is adjustable. A keyboard engaging member defines aligned incline defining slots on opposite sides of a center section. A second, workstation engaging member allows the user to move the keyboard back and forth with respect to a workstation. This allows the user to move the keyboard between a storage position and an in use position. A linkage interconnects the two members for adjusting a relative position of the keyboard engaging member with respect to the workstation engaging member thereby allowing the keyboard position and orientation to be controlled by the user. The linkage includes a first elongated member having one end rotatably mounted to the workstation engaging member which has an arcuate slot at one end spaced from the end that is connected to the workstation engaging member. The linkage also includes a second elongated member having one end rotatably mounted to the workstation engaging member and including a hole in an end spaced from the end that is connected to the workstation engaging member. A connector pass through the arcuate slot in the first elongated member, the aligned incline defining slots of the keyboard engaging member, the hole passing through the second elongated member, and wedge shaped blocks for adjusting frictional engagement between said first and second elongated members to maintain an orientation between the keyboard engaging member and the workstation.

Tilt adjustable keyboard support

A keyboard and mouse support includes a keyboard support body and a mouse support. The keyboard support body includes a throughpassage that passes through the support body and opens on opposite sides of the support body. The keyboard support body also defines a support surface configured to accommodate a keyboard such as a keyboard for inputting alphanumeric symbols to a personal computer. The moveable mouse support fits within a portion of the throughpassage of the support and extends outwardly from the support to define a mouse support surface having a region that extends in front of a front edge of a keyboard with the keyboard resting the support surface. Although the term &ldquo;mouse&rdquo; has become almost universally used for the rolling input device used to move an arrow on the display screen and &ldquo;pick&rdquo; functions or data values, other terms such as &ldquo;trackball&rdquo; can be used interchangeably with the term &ldquo;mouse&rdquo;. The mouse support includes an upwardly protruding elongated bead spaced inwardly from a rearward edge of the mouse support. The bead is substantially circular in cross section and is fixed within a recess in an upper surface of the mouse support and an upper portion of the bead extends above an upper surface of the mouse support. A downwardly facing surface of the keyboard support bounding the throughpassage includes a recess sized to slidably receive the upper portion of the bead extending above the upper surface of the mouse support. The bead prevents a mouse placed on either of the two mouse support surfaces from sliding off the back edge of the mouse support if the mouse support is inclined at a negative angle. A wrist support is affixed to an upper support surface of the keyboard support body using a plurality of ball catch type fasteners.
