A self-centering shaft adapter may include a first jaw, a second jaw, and an actuation mechanism, wherein the first jaw and the second jaw define an opening for receiving a shaft therein. The actuation mechanism may be able to exert a force upon the first jaw and the second jaw creating a movement in the first jaw and the second jaw in opposite directions. The movement of the first jaw and the second jaw may increase or decrease the size of the opening. In some cases, the opening may maintain a relatively constant center regardless of the size of the opening. In some cases, the actuation mechanism may be a wedge. In other cases, the actuation mechanism may be a double-threaded screw.

Self-centering shaft adapter for actuators

A DIN rail mounted device that may be mounted to a DIN rail with minimal components and without requiring the use of tools. In some instances, an electrical device is provided that has one or more integrally formed rigid latches and one or more integrally formed flexible latches. The electrical device may be secured to a DIN rail by first engaging the rigid latches along an upper edge of the DIN rail, and then rotating the device downwards to engage the flexible latches along a lower edge of the DIN rail. The electrical device may be removed by pushing the device upwards, thereby bending the flexible latches downward to a degree where the rigid latches disengage the upper edge of the DIN rail, and then rotating the device forward and down. The flexible latches may be adapted to compress sufficiently to permit this downward travel, and a recess or other opening may be provided behind the flexible latches to allow such movement.

DIN rail mount

A damper unit for an air circulation system. The damper unit includes a frame defining an air flow opening, a damper vane for opening and closing the air flow opening, and a drive mechanism for turning the damper vane between the open and closed positions. The vane of the damper unit includes a main body and vane turning surfaces that project outwardly from the main body. The vane turning surfaces are configured for converting air flow into torque for assisting the drive mechanism in turning the damper vane between the open and closed positions.

Terminal blocks adapted for placement on a printed circuit board using SMT techniques are disclosed herein. A terminal block in accordance with an illustrative embodiment of the present invention can include a main body, a terminal block header including a number of terminal inlet ports configured to receive wire or conduit, and one or more terminal leads adapted to make electrical contact with a number of attachment pads formed on the printed circuit board. An illustrative method of mounting the terminal block to a printed circuit board may include the steps inserting the upper portion of the main body through a terminal block opening, and then connecting the one or more terminal leads of the terminal block to attachment pads.

A damper unit for an air circulation system. The damper unit includes an air flow opening, a damper vane for opening and closing the air flow opening, and a motor for moving the damper vane between the open and closed positions. The damper also includes at least two ports, each port being operable in an input and an output mode. When a control signal is received on one port, the signal is sent out on the other port, and vice versa. The ports can be identical in shape to receive the same shaped plug.

Bi-directional connections for daisy-chained dampers

A thermostat adapted for controlling heating and cooling apparatuses has a temperature control point adjustment means connected to a temperature responsive switch means for adjusting the control point thereof. A changeover switch means is connected to the temperature responsive switch means for selectively connecting either heating or cooling apparatus to the temperature responsive switch means. A temperature control point limit means is connected to the temperature control point adjustment means so that upon selecting by means of the changeover switch means either a heating or a cooling operation, the temperature control point limit means limits the movement of the temperature control point adjustment means to a first range of movement when heating is selected and a second range of movement when cooling is selected.
