The present invention is a pre-shaped article of clothing formed with an inner and/or outer layer and an intermediate layer secured to the inner or outer layer, wherein the intermediate layer includes an adhesive positioned thereon in a non- or discontinuous manner to secure the intermediate layer to the inner or outer layer. The adhesive is heat-activated to form bonds between the inner and/or outer layer and the intermediate layer without any application of compressive forces to the layers when forming the glove.

The present invention is an article of clothing, such as a glove, formed with a flexible, moldable material section forming one or more of the portions of the article of clothing. The moldable sections utilized in constructing the article of clothing are formed in a molding process which allows for the formation of the sections in a desired shape and/or with various function-enhancing members integrally on the moldable portions. In addition, the molding process for forming the moldable sections can be used to bond the moldable sections to the other non-moldable sections used in the construction of the article of clothing.

The present invention is a glove formed with a palm portion having a section of the material forming the palm portion cut out or away from the palm portion and replaced by a replacement section formed of a stretchable material. The replacement stretchable material section has an area or shape significantly different from that of the cutout section removed from the palm portion, but has an outer periphery that corresponds in length to the length of the cut out portion. Thus, the replacement section, when attached to the periphery of the cut out portion of the palm portion, is attached thereto in a tensioned or stretched configuration to provide contouring to the palm portion of the glove in conformance with the shape of a hand of the individual. This significantly reduces wrinkling and/or bunching of the palm portion when the hand is extended or contracted from the relaxed position.

A garment including a shell adapted to receive a portion of a body of a wearer therein, the shell having an interior surface, an exterior surface and an aperture for receiving the body portion of the wearer and at least one conductive member disposed on the exterior surface of the shell. The at least one conductive member is formed with sufficient conductive mass to generate a signal recognizable by a touch-sensitive device without direct contact of the at least one conductive member with the wearer.

A garment including a shell adapted to receive a portion of a body of a wearer therein, the shell having an interior surface, an exterior surface and an aperture is provided. The garment also includes a conductive member having a first end disposed on the interior surface of the shell, a second end disposed on the exterior surface of the shell, and extending through the aperture to connect the first end and the second end where the conductive member enables the wearer to interact with an electronic device having a capacitive-type touch-sensing interface.

The present invention is a knit or cloth glove that includes one or more additional protective layers attached thereto to improve the protective attributes of the glove as desired by the wearer. The protective layers are formed of materials that provide puncture, cut, chemical and water resistant properties to the glove, and are secured to a base layer of the glove that is formed of a stretchable and breathable natural or synthetic fabric material. An outer coating layer is applied over the base layer and the protective layers to provide enhanced protective features, as well as a seamless appearance, to the glove.

The present invention is a stowable vest that is secured at one end within a compartment or enclosure disposed on the exterior of a garment, such as a jacket. The vest can be withdrawn from the enclosure and positioned around the garment to provide a highly visual display on the exterior of the garment. Further, the vest is easily disengagable from the exterior of the garment and reinsertable within the enclosure in order to enable the garment to function in a manner which enables an individual, such as a hunter, to selectively display the vest only when desired.

A garment including an adjustable weight support mechanism used to shift the weight and position of objects contained within pockets disposed on the garment is provided. The garment has a number of pockets including a storage pouch releasably attached to the rear of the garment. The support mechanism is attached to the garment and includes a pair of strap assemblies which extend from the shoulders of the garment downwardly towards the bottom of front and rear panels forming the garment. The first strap of each assembly is connected between the shoulder of the garment and the front panel. The second strap assembly is connected between the rear panel and the first strap, and is adjustable in length. When the second strap is pulled to shorten the length of the second strap, the second strap pulls the first strap downwardly and forwardly to pull the shoulders and rear panel of the garment upwardly and move the weight contained in the storage pouch upwardly onto the shoulders of the wearer of the garment, and off of the lower back.

An upland pack vest for hunting has a rear game pouch and an adjustable belting/strapping system designed to evenly distribute the weight of game loaded in the game pouch. The pack vest includes a pair of shoulder staps connected to the top of the game pouch and a hip belt connected to the inside of the game pouch. The shoulder straps are hung over the shoulders of the hunter and the hip belt is buckled around the waist of the hunter. A pair of adjustable diagonal straps connect the respective shoulder straps to the game pouch. A sternum strap connects the shoulder straps to prevent the shoulder straps from spreading as the adjustable diagonal straps redistribute weight from the game pouch onto the front portion of the shoulder straps. The length of the diagonal straps are adjustable in order to allow the hunter to adjust the fit of the vest.

An outerwear garment such as pants or coveralls has a waterproof seamless seat insert. The insert made of waterproof fabric and is attached to the garment to cover at least the seat portion and the adjacent rear leg portions of the garment. The waterproof insert is attached to the garment inside of the outer layer, and if the garment has an inner liner, preferably between the outer layer and the inner liner. The seamless seat waterproof insert is attached to the garment along its periphery so that the seamless seat is substantially free of the seat portion of the outer layer. The waterproof seamless seat insert eliminates the need to waterproof a back rise seam in the insert. The insert preferably continues under the crotch and towards the waist to provide a seamless crotch as well. The insert is preferably made of a relatively lightweight, stretch material so that the insert does not compromise the fit of the garment that is defined by the other textile layers of the garment.
