A ground engaging vehicle including a frame, an engine, a controller, an accelerator, a position sensor and an interpreter. The engine is supported by the frame and the engine includes a throttle. The controller is in communication with the engine. The position sensor is associated with the accelerator. The position sensor generates a first signal corresponding to a position of the accelerator. The interpreter receives the first signal from the position sensor and generates a second signal dependent upon the first signal. The interpreter communicates the second signal to the controller.

Engine control system

A work machine () comprises an operator interface (), an auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or) adapted to operate a hydraulic actuator () of an auxiliary tool () when the auxiliary tool () is attached to the work machine (), and a controller unit () that communicates with the operator interface () and the auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or). The controller unit () is adapted to receive from the operator interface () an electrical setpoint signal representative of a flow setpoint selected by an operator via the operator interface (), and electrically operate the auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or) so as to output flow from the auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit (or) to the auxiliary tool () at a substantially constant magnitude represented by the flow setpoint. An associated method is disclosed.

A work machine () comprises an auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit () adapted to operate a hydraulic actuator () of an auxiliary tool () when the auxiliary tool () is attached to the work machine. The auxiliary electro-hydraulic circuit () is electrically controlled by a controller unit () in a proportional mode or a continuous mode.

Electro-hydraulic auxiliary mode control

A work vehicle includes a mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD) and a controller unit for automatically controlling the MFWD based at least on a MFWD request signal, a speed ratio request signal, and a brake-status signal. The MFWD request is overridden if the speed ratio request is for a predetermined speed ratio (such as fourth gear), and the overriding of the MFWD request is interrupted if the brake-status signal indicates that a brake of the work vehicle is applied.

Automatic control of mechanical front wheel drive using speed ratio

A work vehicle comprises a mechanical front wheel drive (MFWD) and a MFWD switch associated with the MFWD for selectively activating the MFWD. The MFWD switch may be a 3-position switch comprising a momentary-ON position, a maintain-ON position, and a maintain-OFF position. The MFWD switch may be, for example, a 3-position rocker switch.

Momentary activation of mechanical front wheel drive

In accordance with the present invention, an anti-theft system includes an input device and a processor having an associated memory, the memory including instructions executable by the processor to activate the anti-theft system in response to receiving an authorization code from the input device and, when the anti-theft system is activated, to lock the engine in response to receiving one of a user code and a master code from the input device.
