A coupling mechanism for coupling a first component to a second component. The first component comprises at least one coupling element provided with at least a first hook. The coupling element is pivotable about a pivot axis. The second component comprises at least a first pen. The coupling element is pivotable between a first position wherein the first pen is disconnected from the first hook and the first and second component can be decoupled from each other and a second position wherein the first pen is located in the first hook and the first and second component are detachably coupled to each other.

A child seat transporting system comprising a base being detachably connectable to a vehicle seat, a safety part being detachably connectable to the base and a child seat being detachably connectable to the safety part. The child seat comprises at least one child seat handle to carry the child seat when disconnected from the safety part. The safety part, when disconnected from the base, is detachably connectable to a frame of a stroller, whereby when the safety part with the child seat connected thereto is connected to the frame of the stroller, the child seat is detachable from the safety part.

An infant carrier is included in a child restraint that may also include a carrier-mount base adapted to be anchored to a passenger seat in a vehicle. The infant carrier includes a shell for holding an infant and a carry handle coupled to the shell and adapted to be gripped by a caregiver.

A carrying device includes an object to be carried and an object carrier coupled to the object to be used in carrying the object. The object carrier includes a handle connected with at least one end to the object and movable between a retracted position to a carrying position. The object may be an infant seat.

Carry handle for child carrier

A child restraint includes an infant carrier having a carry handle. The infant carrier may be mounted on a stroller frame or on a vehicle seat or may be carried by a caregiver after separation from the stroller frame or vehicle seat.
