A toy figure with controlled motorized movements is provided having a head, two arms two legs and a tail which are pivotally and/or rotatably attached to a chassis. Mechanisms and electronics are included to move the head, arms, legs and tail in a variety of play patterns and movements.

In accordance with the present invention an interactive toy includes a body, a head extending from a front portion of the body and a plurality of feet extending downwardly from the body. A pair of sensors are separately positioned on the left and right sides of the toy, and the sensors activate upon receiving a signal. A microprocessor is in communication with the pair of sensors controls a mechanical movements of the toy upon activation of the sensors. In one embodiment the mechanical movements of the toy include a pair of motors separately driving a gear spur meshed to a wheel. Each wheel extends from underneath the toy to drive the toy on a surface.

Interactive toy and areas designated therefor

In one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a toy figure having a circuit board to store audio outputs, a speaker to emit the audio outputs, and the ability to activate the playback of the audio outputs. The figure includes a motor mechanism along with the ability to move or pivot the figure's head and/or an appendage attached to the figure. A plurality of switches are positioned about the figure; each switch when triggered, activates controls to move the figure and activates the playback of audio outputs that are incomprehensible to a user. The figure also includes a proximity sensor that is triggered when the figure is in close proximity to an object. When the proximity sensor is triggered, the circuit board is activated to control the movement of the figure and to playback audio outputs that are in a language understandable by the user and played at a low tone such that the user is inclined to move the figure towards the user's ear.

In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a toy figure having a circuit board to store pre-recorded sounds, a speaker to emit the pre-recorded sounds, and a means to activate the playback of said pre-recorded sounds. The figure also includes a plurality of sensors separately positioned about the figure at specific locations; each sensor when triggered activates the playback of pre-recorded sounds indicative of the location. A first arm having a hand attached thereto includes a magnet that when in proximity to one of the sensors triggers said sensor, whereby a user moving the hand with the magnet to a location on the figure containing a sensor, the figure plays pre-recorded sounds indicative of the location.

A generally tubular doll body having hinged upper and lower leg portions. The doll body is provided with arms sockets for freely rotatable arms and a stem for receiving a head. The doll can be accessorized with tubular dresses, skirts, bracelets etc. The doll further includes a head portion on which various hair designs can be placed.

There is provided in one embodiment a twisting figure that includes a head and body having a pair of arms and a lower leg section separately extending therefrom. A housing formed in the body contains a motor secured between a pair of horizontal plates. The plates are pivotally secured to the lower leg section. A combo gear is secured to the upper plate and in communication with the motor. The combo gear is arranged to reciprocate against a bumper that is secured to the lower leg section. When the combo gear reciprocates against the bumper, the pair of plates pivots back and forth causing the twisting figure to move therewith. The figure may also include a worm gear in communication with the motor and the pair of arms, such that when the motor rotates the pair of arms move upwardly or downwardly.

An electronic figurine has at least one appendage, a means for displaying electronic images in relation to a virtual character, and a circuit board. The circuit board is programmed to generate images of the virtual character including facial expressions, symbols, virtual activates, games and animated sequences. The electronic figurine further includes means for activating pre-programmed responses when a user interacts with the appendages or orientation of the figurine. Moreover, the electronic figurine may also include various audible sounds and responses that may also be activated and interacted with by a user interacting with the physical figurine.

The electronic picture book of the present invention includes a plurality of pages graphically depicting or telling a story. The book further includes an LCD screen and a speaker to provide a reader with animation sequences and sounds that relate to the graphical pictures on the pages. A set of buttons is provided to trigger the animation sequences and sounds. While reading the book, each page indicates a button to depress. The reader, depressing the correct button, is then provided with animation sequences and sounds indicative to the graphic representations on the page.
