The present invention is a method and system for determining the range of an RFID tag from an origin using radio-frequency identification ('RFID') tags. An RFID tag with a unique numerical identifier is secured to an object. The RFID tag transmits its unique numerical identifier using RF signals, wherein the numerical identifier further comprises an array of extensions. The strength of each of the RF signals corresponds to an extension of the array of extensions. A receiver reads the RF signals and determines the unique numerical identifier and extensions being transmitted. An information processor interconnected with the receiver analyzes the unique numerical identifier and extensions from a predetermined index, and the information processor determines the range of the identity and range of the RFID tag from an origin.

RFID multiple range method and system

The present invention is a mobile method and system for automatically monitoring the location and use of tools using radio-frequency identification ('RFID') tags. An RFID tag is secured to each tool with a unique numerical identifier. The RFID tag transmits its unique numerical identifier associated with each of the RFID tags using a RF signal, wherein the RF signal is transmitted at different intervals for each of the RFID tags. A receiver on a mobile platform reads the RF signals and determines the unique numerical identifier being transmitted. An information processor interconnected with the receiver analyzes the unique numerical identifier from a predetermined index, and the information processor determines whether any tools were not found on the index and automatically alerts a user when a tool is missing.

Mobile RFID management method and system

A method of generating advertising revenue by securing an FM subcarrier frequency through an FM broadcasting station and distributing portable receivers to end users tailored to play the audio signals broadcast over the FM subcarrier frequency, on demand. Public service audio clips and advertising audio clips are broadcast to the portable receivers with the intention that a listener will be exposed to both the public service audio clip and the advertising audio clip during the period of the broadcast. The public service audio clips and advertising audio clips are broadcast in a continuous loop and are coded with start and stop signals to indicate the beginning and end of the broadcast. Through this method, an individual requesting the broadcast will hear a signal loop of the audio, starting with the detection of the start signal and ending when the detection of the stop signal.

Revenue generating method of broadcasting on FM subcarrier

A turbine apparatus for providing support peripherally for a turbine rotor having either a vertical or horizontal axis of rotation. The present invention includes a plurality of blades distributed about the rotor, the blades across their width being shaped and angularly pitched to the flow of air therebetween to effect rotation of the rotor and the blades defining a peripheral boundary of the rotor. A support system for the blades includes a support ring concentric with the turbine axis of rotation and adjacent to the peripheral boundary of the rotor. A support mechanism for each blade includes a support assembly mounted in rotational supporting association with the support ring so that the mass and forces generated by each blade is substantially supported at the peripheral boundary of the rotor by the support ring.
