An aircraft system includes a support structure, an aerodynamic component, a first coupling unit and a second coupling unit. The first coupling unit includes a first coupling mechanism movably coupling the aerodynamic component to a first coupling point at the support structure, and a second coupling mechanism coupling the aerodynamic component to a second coupling point at the support structure. The first and second coupling points are spatially separated from each other, wherein the first coupling mechanism and the second coupling mechanism interact with each other to enable a rotational movement of the aerodynamic component with respect to the support structure such that, during the rotational movement of the aerodynamic component, a center of rotation of the aerodynamic component is translated from a neutral position to an adjusted position. The second coupling unit pivotably moves the aerodynamic component about a pivot axis at the support structure.

Aircraft system

A sealing device for covering an aperture in a wing part of an aircraft. The sealing device has a cover plate covering at least a part of the aperture and having an outer surface delimited by a cover plate edge, and at least one holding device coupled with the cover plate. The at least one holding device having a resilient element, the at least one holding device resiliently holds the cover plate in a distance to an actuation element. The distance is variable in a first direction substantially perpendicular to the outer surface. The at least one holding device holds the cover plate in a substantially fixed spatial alignment in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. The resilient element urges the cover plate towards the actuation element in a mounted state of the sealing device.

A wing for an aircraft. The wing includes a main wing and a trailing edge high lift assembly movably arranged at a trailing edge of the main wing. The trailing edge high lift assembly includes a flap and a connection assembly movably mounting the flap to the main wing, such that the flap is movable between a retracted position and at least one extended position, wherein the connection assembly is configured such that the flap is movable relative to the main wing in a linear and/or rotational manner. The connection assembly is configured such that the flap is movable relative to the main wing in a decoupled linear and rotational manner.

An aircraft wing, including a main wing and a trailing edge high lift assembly movably arranged at a main wing trailing edge, the high lift assembly including a flap and a connection assembly movably mounting the flap to the main wing, such that the flap is movable between retracted and extended positions. In the extended position, a gap is present between a main wing lower rear panel and a flap leading-edge section. In the retracted position, the gap is closed or minimized. The flap is movable between an extended position, a first retracted position, and a second retracted position where the flap is moved beyond the first retracted position in a forward direction, and the wing comprises a gap closing device configured to close or minimize the gap in both the first and second retracted positions of the flap, and to open the gap in the flap extended position.

A leading edge assembly for an aircraft wing. The leading edge assembly includes a housing configured to be connectable to a fixed wing section of the wing, the housing formed with a first opening connecting an exterior of the housing with an interior of the housing, an actuating element movably connected to the housing, such that the actuating element is movable between a first position and at least one second position. The roller bearing includes a second roller unit mounted to the main wing and engaging a slat track intermediate portion engagement surface. The slat track has an upper and lower flange and at least one web. The second roller unit is arranged in a recess between the upper and lower flanges and engages the engagement surface provided at the upper and/or lower flange.

A wing for an aircraft including a main wing, slat, and connection assembly movable connecting the slat to the main wing and including an elongate slat track. A front end of the slat track is mounted to the slat. A rear end and an intermediate portion of the slat track are mounted to the main wing by a roller bearing that includes a guide rail mounted to the main wing and a first roller unit mounted to the rear end of the slat track and engaging the guide rail. The wing has redundant main load paths. The guide rail includes a guide rail primary structure engaging with the first roller unit and an additional reinforcement structure additionally reinforcing the guide rail primary structure in a lateral direction. The guide rail primary structure forms a first main load path. The reinforcement structure forms a redundant second main load path.

A wing for an aircraft is disclosed having a main wing, a slat, and a connection assembly movable connecting the slat to the main wing. The connection assembly includes an elongate slat track, and the front end of the slat track is mounted to the slat. The rear end and the intermediate portion of the slat track are mounted to the main wing by a roller bearing that includes a guide rail mounted to the main wing and a first roller unit mounted to the rear end of the slat track and engaging the guide rail, and wherein the roller bearing having a second roller unit that is mounted to the main wing and that engages an engagement surface of the slat track. The slat track is supported in a wing span direction by a lateral support.

A C-shaped connection assembly transmits loads in a load plane between a first and a second wing element. The connection assembly comprises a first and a second L-shaped load-bearing device. Each load-bearing device comprises a joint region and two legs extending parallel to the load plane and away from the joint region towards respective end regions. One leg of the first load-bearing device extends parallel to one leg of the second load bearing device. These legs are connected to one another. Two coupling portions which connect the connection assembly to the second wing element are formed in the respective joint regions of the load-bearing devices. Two further coupling portions which connect the connection assembly to the first wing element are formed in respective free end region of the load-bearing device and the joint region of the second load-bearing device.
