A fold assist bimini top includes a bimini frame with a front bow, a front support, a rear bow, and a rear support. The bimini frame is displaceable between an extended position and a retracted position. A canopy secured over the bimini frame is displaceable with the bimini frame between the extended position and the retracted position. A pair of assist straps are configured to facilitate displacement of the bimini frame from the extended position to the retracted position. One of the pair of assist straps is manually displaceable, and one of the assist straps is elastic and is secured at ends thereof to the bimini frame. The elastic assist strap biases the bimini frame toward the retracted position.

A pole-less cover assembly includes a cover member positionable over a structure and formed of an essentially impermeable material, and an integrated gutter system including a material section coupled with the cover member and formed of a porous material and a gutter disposed below the material section. Among other advantages, the pole-less cover assembly eliminates conventional tent poles required for existing boat covers, thereby reducing cost and facilitating installation.

A clip assembly secures a flexible material to a profile with a receiving channel. An exemplary profile is a pontoon fence rail. The clip assembly includes a clip bracket with a material connecting section and a profile connecting section. The material connecting section has an aperture, and the profile connecting section has a connection tab. A connector includes a shaft and a cap. The shaft is insertable through the flexible material into the aperture of the material connecting section. The connection tab is releasably engageable with the receiving channel with the flexible material sandwiched between the material connecting section and the cap of the connector.

A self-supporting bimini top frame is independently supportable on four contact points. A main bow defines a first support member for a bimini top connectable to the bimini top frame. The main bow defines first and second contact points. A pair of stanchions are pivotably connected to the main bow and define third and fourth contact points. A primary tension bow is pivotably and slidably connected to the main bow and defines a second support member for the bimini top. A bimini top may also be secured on the bimini top frame.

A tubing member includes an outer periphery delimiting a tubing interior and a slot opening therein. A channel is positioned adjacent the slot opening in the tubing interior and is integral with the outer periphery. The channel is accessible via the slot opening.

A cover system for a boat includes a bimini frame securable to the boat and displaceable among an open position, a storage position, and a cover position. A flexible top is coupled with the bimini frame, and a cover is positionable over the bimini frame with the bimini frame in the cover position. The bimini frame thus functions as a support structure for a mooring or trailering cover. With the described bimini frame, one cover size can fit multiple seating and deck configurations without the need for a separate cover design for the various configurations.

A portable boat enclosure includes a plurality of separable panels formed of a lightweight material and a storage bag. The panels are connectable into a boat enclosure, and the panels are sized and shaped to be overlaid, folded and rolled to fit in the storage bag.

Low cost boat enclosure

A boat cover for a boat includes a cover section that is sized to cover the deck from bow to stern and extending over the rub rail, and a shipping section attached to the cover section and sized to cover the hull from below the rub rail toward the chine. The shipping section is removable from the cover section. The boat cover eliminates waste as a shipping cover and is usable by the boat owner as a daily or long term storage, mooring and trailering cover.

A system for securing a flexible cover to a boat is described. The system includes a flexible cover defining a peripheral edge and a flexible member attached to the flexible cover adjacent to the peripheral edge. An edge clip is adjustably disposed on the flexible member. The edge clip includes a body defining an inlet and an outlet. The flexible member extends from the inlet to the outlet. A retaining element is disposed within the body to discourage movement of the flexible member with respect to the inlet and the outlet. The system also includes a hook, connectible between the edge clip and the boat for securing the edge clip to the boat, thereby securing the flexible cover to the boat via the flexible member.

An apparatus for attaching a boat cover to a boat is disclosed. The apparatus includes an elongated member defining a first leg and a second leg. A plurality of notches are defined in the first leg of the elongated member. A flexible cover is affixed to the second leg of the elongated member along at least one edge. A guide is affixable to a deck of a boat. The guide defines at least one securement groove therein. The securement groove accepts the second leg of the elongated member therein.

The present invention is an improved arch for a boat. The improved arch includes at least one channel which extends at least partially along the port and starboard sides of the arch and at least partially across the top member of the arch. The channel is designed to receive water and direct that water away from the cockpit area of the boat. Additionally, the present invention includes a canopy mounting system particularly adapted for the arch of the present invention. The system includes a first locking strip attachment to a surface. The first member includes at least one fastening channel having a restricted opening. A locking member is adapted to be attached to a canopy and has at least one locking flange for insertion into the fastening channel of the locking strip. The canopy can be repeatedly connected to and disconnected by positioning the locking member against the locking strip and pressing against the locking member to force flanges into the fastening channel of the locking strip. The locking member can be removed from the channel by pulling the locking member away from the channel to disengage the flange from the fastening channel. The locking member is particularly well-suited for use with the boat arch.
