A fluid storage and dispensing apparatus including a fluid storage and dispensing vessel having a rectangular parallelepiped shape, and an integrated gas cabinet assembly including such fluid storage and dispensing apparatus and/or a point-of-use ventilation gas scrubber in the vented gas cabinet. By the use of physical adsorbent and chemical sorbent media, the gas cabinet can be enhanced in safety of operation, e.g., where the process gas supplied from the gas cabinet is of a toxic or otherwise hazardous character.

An electrochromic display module employing a unique combination of architecture and electrochromic composition to provide an extended life to the module. The architecture may involve the use of an extended seal about a perimeter of a display portion where the composition is located. In this manner, the rate of solvent leakage from the composition may be substantially reduced. Additionally, the electrochromic composition itself may make use of particular low volatility solvents and constituent combinations so as to discourage the amount particle generation therein. Ultimately, an electrochromic display module having a useful life of more than about 3 years may be provided.

A fluid storage and dispensing system includes a storage and dispensing vessel containing a solid-phase physical sorbent material for holding a sorbable fluid, and a motive transport assembly associated with the storage and dispensing vessel. The storage and dispensing vessel is arranged for selectively flowing fluid into the vessel for storage, and out of the vessel for dispensing. The sorbable fluid physically adsorbed on the solid-phase physical sorbent medium may be selectively desorbed by pressure differential desorption and/or thermal desorption, to dispense gas when the vessel is in motive transport and/or when the vessel is at rest.
