A fluid process application bag includes a flexible film body having an opening, a port plate sealed around the opening of the flexible film body, a sensor fitting and a sensor contained within the sensor fitting. The port plate has a receptacle defining a passage in fluid communication with an interior of the flexible film body and the sensor fitting has a body portion seated within the passage of the receptacle and is coupled to the receptacle. The sensor has at least one probe communicating with the interior of the flexible film body. A collar includes first and second semi-circular members that are connected via a living hinge.

One embodiment of the invention relates to a liner for a first pump housing in a fluid pump assembly. The fluid pump assembly includes a first pump housing, a second pump housing and a flexible diaphragm disposed between the first and second pump housings. The first pump housing includes a fluid access port for providing fluid communication between an inside housing chamber of the first pump housing and an outside of the first pump housing. The second pump housing is securely mated to the first pump housing. The second pump housing includes a biasing mechanism for selectively displacing a portion of the diaphragm toward the first pump housing. The liner of the invention includes a flexible member removeably secured inside the first pump housing. The liner also includes a first portion of the member being shaped to substantially conform to the interior dimensions of the inside housing chamber and a second portion of the member shaped to substantially conform to the fluid access port. The member forms an inner liner chamber inside the inside housing chamber. The member also includes a mating portion for securing the member to the diaphragm to form a seal there between. The inner liner chamber being in fluid communication with the displaceable portion of the diaphragm. Whereby the displacement of the portion of the diaphragm expels fluid from the inner liner chamber through the fluid access port.

Diaphragm pump liner for critical process applications

The alcoholysis and phenolysis of phosphorus pentasulfide is accelerated by reacting the phosphorus pentasulfide with an alcohol or phenol in the presence of a catalytic amount of a catalyst consisting essentially of water, phosphoric acid, a phosphate salt, sulfuric acid or mixtures thereof. The dialkyl- or diaryldithiophosphoric acids produced are useful in the production of such products as motor oil additives, insecticides, etc.

Method of increasing the reactivity of phosphorus pentasulfide

The calcium content of high purity concentrated phosphoric acid is reduced to not more than about 2 ppm by contacting the acid with a strong cation exchange resin.

Treatment of concentrated phosphoric acid

Either commercial yellow phosphorus or a phosphorus sludge is reacted with a slurry of calcium hydroxide in aqueous sodium hydroxide to form a sodium hypophosphite solution containing calcium and hydroxide ions. The solution is neutralized with phosphoric acid or an acid phosphate salt with the co-production of an insoluble calcium phosphate. The neutral solution is contacted with an ion exchange resin charged with sodium ions to remove any remaining calcium ions.
