In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for digital identify verification may include: (1) receiving, from a user electronic device or at a website, an image of an identity document for a user, the identity document comprising an image of the user; (2) processing the identity document with at least one business-specific rule; (3) extracting identity information from the identity document; (4) determining a match rate of the image of the user on the identity document to a captured image; (5) assigning a verification score to the user based on extracted identity information and the match rate; and (6) publishing the verification score to at least one system.

A method for presenting pre-approved and pre-underwritten offers to a customer may include: receiving targeting criteria based on at least one of current accounts with the financial institution, assets, creditworthiness, and credit risk for an offer for a financial product; identifying a target population of customers for the offer by applying the targeting criteria to a population of customers; reviewing each customer in the target population for underwriting for the financial product based on inferred income for each customer and accounts that each customer has with the financial institution, wherein the underwriting is performed before the financial product is offered; determining a channel to present the offer to one of the customers that passed underwriting; communicating the offer to the customer over the selected channel; and providing an accepted offer to a fulfilment engine, wherein the fulfilment engine initiates an account opening for the financial product.

In one embodiment, a method may include (1) a financial institution server comprising at least one computer processor receiving, from a merchant, a transaction comprising an identification of a good or service, a customer financial instrument issued by the financial institution, and a promotion identifier; (2) the financial institution server retrieving a promotion associated with the promotion identifier; (3) the financial institution server approving the transaction with the financial instrument; and (4) the financial institution server automatically applying the promotion to the transaction.
