Dart projectile

A dart launcher and dart magazine for alleviating improper dart placement concerns with a forward matching dart profile. The dart magazine is short and does not extend into the launch chamber of the launcher. The magazine has an open top with a dart restrainer that is moved when the magazine is inserted into the launcher causing an upper-most dart in the magazine to be biased out of the magazine and into the launch chamber. The launcher includes a dart placement structure in the launch chamber to locate the upper-most dart. The dart placement structure may be shaped as an arm allowing positioning of each dart also free of the magazine while facilitating automatic firing of the darts from the magazine.

Ball projectile

An improvised projectile checking housing assembly having latch button and first and second sidewalls with first and second catch apertures opening as a catch latch recess of elongated structure using an improvised projectile checking spring opening to receive a locking key structure based upon the projectile receiving opening to the improvised projectile checking housing assembly. Alternate rearward translating lock gauge at the backside of a dart drum uses a follower and engaging cam surfaces locking and unlocking a pathway for correct dart alignment. Alternate motorized, non-motorized and pneumatic structures are disclosed with apparatus launch operations moving between checking and non-checking positions.

A projectile launch apparatus for discharging a NERF&#x2122; brand dart, or toy launchers each having a rotatable dart carrier in either a gun-like or rifle-like configuration. Each of the apparatus includes an energy creation system embodying a cylinder housing a piston and a launch spring, a handle for priming the apparatus, and components for causing the dart carrier to rotate about an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the launch apparatus.
