A drive sprocket for use with a belt module having a lower surface, and a pocket formed in the lower surface having a drive surface and a recessed surface includes a base having an outer periphery rotatable about an axis, and a plurality of teeth extending radially from the outer periphery. Relief areas formed between the teeth collect particles falling from the belt. At least one tooth includes a drive surface for engaging the module drive surface, and a top. Tooth sides extend from the top and toward said base.

A guide rail support assembly for use with a conveyor having a transport chain or belt for transporting articles from one location to another. The guide rail support comprises the combination of guide rail holding assembly for holding a guide rail adjacent the transporter of a conveyor, a support assembly for supporting the guide rail holding assembly, and cam lever mounted on the support and having a first position for securing the holding assembly against movement relative to the support and a second position for releasing the holding assembly for movement relative to the support whereby movement of the cam lever between its first and second positions permits rapid repositioning of the guide rail relative to the transport chain of a conveyor without the use of tools.

A split guide ring for use with a split sprocket which is mounted on a shaft and used to support and drive conveyor and drive chains.

Guide ring

A modular conveyor belt composed of a plurality of modules. Each module comprises an integrally formed body having a planar conveying surface and pivotal coupling structure on a pair of opposite sides of the body. The pivotal coupling structure on one side of the body being complementary to that on the other side thereof whereby the module may be pivotally connected to like modules on the opposite sides thereof to form the conveyor belt. The pivotal coupling structure comprises a plurality of spaced apart pivot structures projecting from each side of the module and below the planar surface and each including a pair of spaced eyelets having openings coaxial with the openings of the other eyelets on the same side of the module for receiving a hinge pin therethrough and defining an axial direction, the hinge structures on each side of the module being spaced apart from each other in the axial direction and from the hinge structure on adjacent modules when the module is coupled to an adjacent module to define gaps therebetween. The gaps between the eyelets and the hinge structures expose substantial portions of the pin disposed in the openings for inspection and cleaning.
