A merchandiser including a case defining a product display area and having a base and a rear wall coupled to the base. The rear wall has a rear wall component that defines a channel. The case further includes a plurality of shoes partially disposed in the rear wall component within the channel and positioned below the base to support the case on a surface. Load-bearing foam insulation material is disposed in the channel and partially encloses the shoes. The shoes and the rear wall component are coupled together by the load-bearing foam insulation material.

Uni-body merchandiser

A merchandiser including a case defining a product display area for supporting and displaying food product. The case includes a case frame that has at least one mullion defining an opening into the product display area, a door that is positioned over the opening and pivotably coupled to the case frame for movement between a closed position and an open position, and a door hold open mechanism attached to either the mullion or the door. The other of the mullion and the door defines a channel, and the door hold open mechanism includes an engagement member that is outwardly biased from the mullion or the door to which the door hold open mechanism is attached such that the engagement member is engageable with the other of the mullion and the door within the channel to hold the door in the open position.

A refrigerated display case for maintaining food product at a desired temperature. The refrigerated display case includes a case, a product display area, and a refrigeration system. The case includes a plurality of interconnected structural components including a first structural component with first and second sides, a second structural component coupled to the first structural component on the first side with a tab and slot connection, and a third structural component coupled to the first structural component on the second side with a tab and slot connection. The product display area is defined at least in part by the plurality of interconnected structural components and is adapted to support and display the food product. The refrigeration system supplies refrigerated air to the product display area and is adapted to maintain the food product at the desired temperature.
