A medical treatment system includes a medical treatment device for monitoring and providing treatment to a patient and a companion device communicatively coupled to the medical treatment device. The medical treatment device may display case information including physiological information visually rendered from physiological sensor inputs in a first display format and transmit the case information and medical data to the companion device. The companion device may include a device interface having a display screen to accept user input instructions for the medical treatment device during a medical event. The companion device may process the case information and medical data received from the medical treatment device and also cause display, at the device interface, of multiple data display views in which each of the display views is selectable via a respective display view selection portion of the device interface.

A life support and monitoring apparatus with malfunction correction guidance is provided. The life support and monitoring apparatus of the present disclosure identifies the root cause or potential cause of a fault/failure and then prompts an operator to take appropriate steps to assure the continuance of life support and critical physiologic monitoring. When multiple faults/failures exist, the apparatus automatically prioritizes them based on risk to the patient and prompts the operator to do the most appropriate intervention to assure patient safety.

The apparatus, system and method of the present disclosure can be used to monitor and maintain critical medical equipment in a continuous state of readiness. The apparatus includes a storage case which protects a medical device disposed therein and the accessories required for its immediate application while also providing for constant or intermittent charging of the device's internal battery and serial data monitoring of the primary systems. The system and method also incorporate design features in the medical device which enable performance testing via a remote interface while the device is secured within the storage case.

An electronics cabinet assembly having a support shelf and an equipment module movably supported thereon. The equipment module is moveable between a closed position adjacent the rear of the support shelf, and an extended position substantially forward relative of the support shelf where the equipment module is hingably supported on the support shelf such that the front of the equipment module can tilt downwards to expose the rear of the equipment module for easy access to the wire and cable connectors.
