The present disclosure relates to a control module circuit having a circuit communication input port, a circuit communication output port, a first controllable unit that has a first controller module, and a second controllable unit having a second controller module. The first controller module has a first communication input port connected with the circuit communication input port and a first communication output port. The second controller module has a second communication input port connected with the first communication output port and a second communication output port connected with the circuit communication output port. The first and second controllable units are adapted to be identified with a permanent identity by way of a transmittable data signal receivable at the communication input port and sequentially received by the first and second controllable units.

The present disclosure relates to a method of initializing a set of controllable units in an electrical system. The present embodiments relate to providing electrical connectivity to electric-powered components mounted in parallel on a wiring board. An electrical apparatus is provided in which electricity is conducted from an electrically conductive member onto first and second electrically conductive pathways, of a wiring board through the use of first and second resiliently-deformable electrically conductive connectors. First and second electric-powered components are mounted to the respective first and second electrically conductive pathways. The first and second resiliently-deformable electrically conductive connectors are compressed between the electrically conductive member and the wiring board such that the first connector provides an electrical connection between the conductive member and the first electrically conductive pathway, and the second connector provides an electrical connection between the conductive member and the second electrically conductive pathway.

The present invention relates generally to electrical power distribution, for example, in aircraft. More particularly, according to a first aspect, the present invention relates to a power supply system for power distribution to one or more loads in a safety-critical power supply network. The power supply system comprises at least one power source, a power bus and a distributed control system. The distributed control system comprises a central controller operably coupled to at least one bus module through a data bus. Bus modules include bus controllers that are operable to connect respective power sources to the power bus.

Electrical power distribution

A processing system has a processor with a memory map identifying locations in a memory where data are stored, data associated with an application being stored at the same location every time an application is run. The processor runs each application during specified processing time slots. A monitor contains information as to the memory locations associated with each application and the time slots during which each application should be run. The monitor also has a register containing a keyword, which is compared with a keyword supplied by the processor when it switches between user mode and supervisory mode so that the monitor denies access to memory locations associated with the other mode.
