The converter comprises an inverter and a conversion unit in which a transformer powers a controlled rectifier formed by saturable inductors and power diodes. According to the invention, a series reactive circuit associated with the transformer co-operates with the controlled rectifier for the phase displacement of the voltage applied at the primary of the transformer in relation to the current flowing therethrough. The phase displacement is regulated by a control voltage as a function of the variations in the output voltage of the converter.

DC-DC converter for electric power using a DC electric power source

The converter comprises an inverter powered by a DC current source. The inverter powers a conversion unit operating on the basis of controlled magnetic switching obtained by means of power diodes and saturable inductors. A regulator can be used to produce a control voltage that is a function of the output voltage which is regulated with the injection of the control voltage into the circuit comprising the smoothing inductors. According to the invention, during each operating cycle, one of the power diodes is locked when the other power diode switches to conduction mode, such as to create a phase displacement between the input voltage of the conversion unit and the input current of same. The phase displacement angle is a function of the control voltage.

Method for DC-DC conversion using a DC electric power source

The invention relates, in particular, to a system for transmitting at least one electric pulse for an apparatus for determining a distribution of charges contained in the thickness of an item () made of a dielectric material, said transmission system including a transmitter electrode () for transmitting at least one pulse and a generator () of said pulse. The system is notable in that said electrode is formed by a transmission line () which is substantially level in relation to the item () to be analyzed and which includes impedance matching means to keep said impedance substantially constant along said transmission line in the passband of said pulse.

The transformer ensures the transmission of electrical power by electromagnetic induction between the first () and second () coils concentrically arranged on the first () and second () tubular parts respectively, which are made of a ferromagnetic material, and coaxially mounted in such a way that an outer surface () of one part can rotate in relation to an inner surface () of the other. These surfaces each consist of two straight cylindrical rotation surfaces () of different diameters, each extending from one of the axial ends of the part () to an intermediate radial shoulder () for connecting these surfaces. The parts () are arranged head-to-foot one inside the other so as to delimit, between the shoulders (), an annular space receiving the coils (), between two annular gaps each delimited by two () of the facing cylindrical surfaces of the first () and second () parts. Each coil comprises at least one layer of a plurality of strip-like windings.

A reciprocating actuator includes at least one element moving reciprocally relative to a rack, a device for driving the moving element in a driving direction, an element for returning the moving element in an opposite direction, at least one sensor for detecting the position of the moving element, and a servocontrol adapted to deliver, for each displacement cycle of the moving element in the driving direction, at least one correction signal (S) representative of the difference between the energy imparted on the moving element during at least one preceding cycle, and the nominal energy to be imparted on this moving element to displace it exactly to its extreme set-point position, and to adjust on each cycle the control signal of the driving device according to the correction signal (S).
