A device for fabricating a composite material part by injecting resin into a fiber structure. The device includes: a first die presenting two adjacent support surfaces defining a reentrant angle between them; at least one chock with a wedge-shaped portion configured to press the fiber structure into the angle; and a second die movable relative to the first die, the first and second dies being configured to clamp on the fiber structure and the chock. The chock is connected to the second die by at least one link, the link being hinged relative to the second die and relative to the chock to guide the wedge-shaped portion towards the angle to press the fiber structure into the angle when the second die approaches the first die.

Device for fabricating a composite material part

The invention relates to a molding tool for producing a composite material part by coating, by means of a matrix, a flexible preform including a skin, and profiled elements delimiting a plurality of three-dimensional meshes of polyhedral shapes. This molding tool comprises a mold and a countermold made of a material having the same expansion coefficient as the preform. Furthermore, includes, for each three-dimensional mesh, a part for filling the latter, formed from a plurality of wedges (-) suitable for being interlocked and delimiting a free central volume (), and from a blocking part () suitable for ensuring a relative blocking of said blocking part and of the wedges (-), the wedges and blocking parts being produced from a material having an expansion coefficient suitable for obtaining a predetermined compaction of the preform for the polymerization temperature of the matrix.

The invention provides an injection mold core () for making a composite material part having a closed box, the core being in the shape of a wedge that is to be inserted inside a closed box () of at least one fiber preform into which a matrix-precursor fluid is to be injected, the core presenting both an opening right section () through which the core is to be unmolded from the box of the preform after the matrix has set, and also a maximum right section () of greater size than the opening right section, the core comprising at least three distinct elements () that are assembled together, each core element presenting a maximum right section of size that is smaller than the opening section.
