This pressure-sensitive adhesive polymer is obtained by emulsion polymerization of the mixture of the following monomers, for a total of 100% by weight: (A) 40 to 95% by weight of at least one (meth)acrylic or vinyl monomer capable of resulting in a homopolymer which has a glass transition temperature lower than or equal to -40.degree.
