The approach calculates metrics, associated with timings between markers, based on deployment of the product by a user. A method, computer system, and a computer program product for coordinating supervision of at least one document processing pipeline is provided. The present invention may include receiving one or more documents. The present invention may then include parsing the received one or more documents to identify one or more performance indicators associated with the received one or more documents. The present invention may also include processing the parsed one or more documents based on a series of processor nodes. The present invention may further include identifying one or more deviations associated with the identified one or more performance indicators. The present invention may also include transferring the identified one or more deviations to a supervisor component. The present invention may then include generating at least one deviation escalation. The present invention may then further include reprocessing the generated at least one deviation escalation after a human response.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for cross-cutting event correlation in an enterprise computing monitoring and management system. An enterprise computing monitoring and management system can include a hierarchy of nodes, where several of the nodes are each coupled to a corresponding embedded correlation engine and an event bus. The system further can include a root node among the nodes. The root node can be coupled to the event bus and to centralized correlation logic programmed to identify a high correspondence between events from a particular event source among the nodes and a particular set of correlation rules in that correlation engine. The identification of such correspondence can be used to move to the set of correlation rules to an embedded correlation engine closer to the particular event source.

Cross-cutting event correlation

A method for discovering thermal relationships in a data processing environment is provided in the illustrative embodiments. An output temperature of a cooling unit operating in the data processing environment is changed from a previous output temperature to a new output temperature. The difference between the previous and the new output temperatures is a change in the output temperature. A change in an ambient temperature proximate to a data processing system is measured. The change in the ambient temperature is a difference between a previous ambient temperature and a new ambient temperature. An expression that represents a relationship between the change in the output temperature and corresponding change in the ambient temperature is determined. The expression is used to determine a cooling correspondence between the cooling unit and the data processing system.

Discovering thermal relationships in data processing environments

A method for thermal relationships based workload planning in a data processing environment is provided in the illustrative embodiments. For a data processing system having a cooling correspondence with a cooling unit in the data processing environment, a determination is made of a fraction of an additional heat generation potential of the data processing system that the cooling unit will have to dissipate. Using the fraction and a cooling capacity utilization of the cooling unit at a given time, an expected cooling capacity utilization is computed. A workload on the data processing system is adjusted in response to the expected cooling capacity utilization exceeding a threshold.

Thermal relationships based workload planning

A system, and computer usable program product for discovering thermal relationships in a data processing environment are provided in the illustrative embodiments. An output temperature of a cooling unit operating in the data processing environment is changed from a previous output temperature to a new output temperature. The difference between the previous and the new output temperatures is a change in the output temperature. A change in an ambient temperature proximate to a data processing system is measured. The change in the ambient temperature is a difference between a previous ambient temperature and a new ambient temperature. An expression that represents a relationship between the change in the output temperature and corresponding change in the ambient temperature is determined. The expression is used to determine a cooling correspondence between the cooling unit and the data processing system.
