The present disclosure describes an optical device, a system including an optical receiver, and a system including an optical module. The optical device includes an Avalanche Photodiode (APD), a circuit board, a boost circuit disposed on the circuit board, a processor disposed on the circuit board and configured to control an output voltage of the boost circuit, and a probe point disposed on the circuit board. The boost circuit includes a control terminal electrically connecting to the processor. The boost circuit also includes an output terminal electrically connecting to the APD and the probe point respectively.

Optical module

An optical module includes a laser transmitter driver chip, a Distributed Bragg reflection (DBR) raster, a laser transmitter, a first resistor, a first capacitor, a second resistor, a second capacitor and a power source. The first resistor is connected between a power source and a differential signal output positive terminal of the laser transmitter; the first capacitor is connected between the differential signal output positive terminal and the a positive terminal of the laser transmitter; the second resistor is connected between the power source and a differential signal output negative terminal of the laser transmitter driver chip; the second capacitor is connected between the differential signal output negative terminal and a negative terminal of the laser transmitter; and the negative terminal of the laser transmitter and a negative terminal of the DBR raster are grounded.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for adjusting a LOS alarm decision threshold and an optical module. The method includes: receiving an optical signal; determining a power value of the optical signal and an amplitude of an electrical signal converted from the optical signal; determining a first numeric relation between the power value and a preset threshold, and a second numeric relation between the amplitude value and a preset decision threshold; and adjusting the decision threshold according to the first numeric relation and the second numeric relation. The method for adjusting a LOS alarm decision threshold and the optical module provided in the embodiments of the present invention can improve the efficiency in setting the LOS alarm decision threshold.

Method for adjusting LOS alarm decision threshold and optical module

An example optical module includes: an optical splitter configured to split a received incident optical signal into a first optical signal and a second optical signal; a wavelength filter sheet configured to receive the second optical signal to reflect a first part of the second optical signal to generate reflected light, and to transmit a second part of that to generate transmitted light; a first photo detector configured to convert the reflected light into an electric signal; a second photo detector configured to convert the transmitted light into an electric signal; and an MCU configured to obtain the first detected signal and the second detected signal, to determine the difference in optical power between the reflected light and the transmitted light, and to determine from the difference in optical power and a specified standard difference in optical power whether the wavelength of the second optical signal is shifted.

Optical module and wavelength detecting method

The disclosure provides an optical module. In the optical module, emitters of a first PNP type triode and a second PNP type triode connected with a power source are high-level always, when a bias pin of a laser transmitter driver chip is high-level, bases of the two PNP type triodes are both high-level and in an OFF state, no current flows to the bias pin and a laser transmitter, and the laser transmitter does not emit light; when the bias pin of the laser transmitter driver chip is low-level, the bases of the two PNP type triodes are both low-level and in an ON state, the current flows to the bias pin and flows from a positive terminal of the laser transmitter, and the laser transmitter emits light.

The embodiments of this disclosure provide an optical module, which expands the network bandwidth, eases a problem on dynamic bandwidth allocation. The optical module comprises an optical transceiver assembly and a control circuit, wherein the optical transceiver assembly comprises a first optical emitter and a second optical emitter; the control circuit is configured to control the first optical emitter to generate an optical signal of a first waveband, and the first optical emitter is configured to emit the optical signal of the first waveband to a transmission optical fiber; or, the control circuit is configured to control the second optical emitter to generate an optical signal of a second waveband, and the second optical emitter is configured to emit the optical signal of the second waveband to the transmission optical fiber.
