A fast charging lithium-ion battery includes a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, a separator, and an electrolyte. The positive electrode plate includes a positive current collector and a positive active material layers. The negative electrode plate includes a negative current collector and negative active material layers. The negative active material layers include titanium niobium oxide, lithium titanate, or a combination thereof. The separator is disposed between the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The electrolyte contacts the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate. The negative active material layers have an effective area corresponding to the positive electrode plate. The negative active material layers have a thickness on one surface of the negative current collector. A ratio of the effective area to the thickness is greater than 2×10mm.

Fast charging lithium-ion battery

A fireproof battery module including a plurality of battery cells and at least one fireproof layer. The battery cells are electrically connected to one another. The at least one fireproof layer is located between two of the plurality of battery cells that are adjacent to each other. The fireproof layer includes a heat absorbing part and a heat insulation part that are connected to each other. The heat absorbing part includes a vaporizable material and a thermal conductivity of the heat insulation part is lower than a thermal conductivity of the heat absorbing part.

A method and a system for determining a discharging process of a battery are provided. The method includes the following steps. Measuring charging/discharging information of the battery. Calculating a charging/discharging characteristic of the battery according to the charging/discharging information. Determining whether the battery is normal according to the aligned charging/discharging characteristic or a coulombic efficiency of the battery. Method and system for determining discharging process of battery

A battery safety identifying method is provided. The method includes the following steps. A voltage drop and a voltage drop rate are detected when a battery is abnormal. A duration time of the voltage drop and a voltage recovery ratio are detected when the battery is abnormal. A surface temperature or a temperature rise rate is detected when the battery is abnormal. A plurality of hazard levels of battery abnormality and at least one protection mechanism are set according to the voltage drop, the voltage drop rate, the voltage recovery ratio and the surface temperature or the temperature rise rate.

Battery safety identifying method and method for setting hazard levels of battery internal short circuit and warning system using the same

A method and a system for detecting resistance of an internal short circuit of a battery are provided. The method includes the following steps. Measuring charging/discharging information of the battery. Calculating a charging/discharging characteristic of the battery according to the charging/discharging information. Aligning the charging/discharging characteristic of the battery according to a comparison characteristic point of a comparison characteristic to obtain an aligned charging/discharging characteristic. Determining whether the battery is normal according to the aligned charging/discharging characteristic or a coulombic efficiency of the battery; and when the battery is determined as abnormal, calculating aligned charging/discharging information according to the aligned charging/discharging characteristic, and calculating the resistance of the internal short circuit of the battery according to the aligned charging/discharging information.

Method and system for detecting resistance of internal short circuit of battery

A cap assembly for a battery includes a roll combination member, a terminal combination member, an electrode terminal, a strength reinforcing block, a cap, and a pad assembly. The roll combination member includes at least one opening, so that terminal disposed portions of 2k rolls are capable of passing through the opening and k is an integer greater than 1, wherein one terminal disposed portion is formed by bending portions of central members of two adjacent rolls. The terminal combination member, the electrode terminal, the strength reinforcing block, the cap, and the pad assembly are sequentially combined on the roll combination member, wherein the electrode terminal includes an electrically conductive portion and a thermally conductive portion which surrounds the electrically conductive portion. The cap assembly is electrically connected to the bending portions at the same side of the 2k rolls.

Cap assembly for battery

A composite electrode material of a lithium secondary battery and a lithium secondary battery are provided. The composite electrode material of the lithium secondary battery at least includes an electrode active powder and a nanoscale coating layer coated on the surface of the electrode active powder, wherein the nanoscale coating layer is composed of a metastable state polymer, a compound A, a compound B, or a combination thereof. The compound A is a monomer having a reactive terminal functional group, and the compound B is a heterocyclic amino aromatic derivative used as an initiator. The weight ratio of the nanoscale coating layer to the composite electrode material of the lithium secondary battery is 0.005% to 10%.

A battery with a soaking plate for a thermally and electrically conductive channel includes a plurality of battery rolls and two cap assemblies. Each of the battery rolls includes a central member and at least one electrode piece. Each of two ends of the central member has a bending portion. The electrode piece at least includes a positive electrode layer and a negative electrode layer. The electrode piece is winding around the central member. The battery rolls are disposed in parallel, and the bending portions at the two ends are formed as terminal disposed portions. The two cap assemblies are disposed at the terminal disposed portions.
