A charging socket includes a housing formed of an electrically insulating material, a cavity in the housing receiving an electrical contact, and a dual-functional element partially protruding from an outer surface of the housing. The dual-functional element has a fixing component and a drainage component. The fixing component protrudes from the housing and fixes the housing to a mounting bracket. The drainage component has a drainage channel within the housing discharging fluids from the charging socket.

A housing assembly for an electrical connector includes a base element having an opening, a cover for covering the opening, and a locking mechanism. The locking mechanism has a slidable member movable into a locking position in which the locking mechanism locks the cover relative to the base element. The locking mechanism has a transmission element for transmitting force and movement onto the locking mechanism.

A spotlight modular assembly for providing external illumination to a charging inlet includes a first frame having a plurality of locking devices securing the spotlight modular assembly to the charging inlet, a second frame, and a circuit carrier and an illumination source electrically connected to the circuit carrier. The circuit carrier and the illumination source are encapsulated within the first frame and the second frame. A light of the illumination source comes out through the second frame. A connector for connecting an electrical conductor to a glow plug of a diesel engine comprises an electrical receptacle terminal, a housing capable of receiving a terminal portion of the glow plug, and a bushing slidably mounted around the housing by engagement of a longitudinal guide rib disposed on an outer surface of the housing in a longitudinal guide groove disposed on an inner surface of the bushing. The housing has a substantially cylindrical tubular body containing the electrical receptacle terminal with an end opening defined by a pair of elastically deformable axial arms capable of engaging the terminal portion. The bushing is movable with respect to the housing from a pre-locking position to a locking position only when the housing is in a correctly mounted position on the terminal portion.

Connector for a diesel engine glow plug

An electrical connector comprises a first connector, a second connector matable with the first connector, an elastic clip mounted on the first connector and movable between an engagement position and a disengagement position, and a safety locking member slidably mounted on the first connector and movable between a pre-locking position and a locking position. The elastic clip is coupled to the second connector in the engagement position to keep the second connector mated with the first connector. The elastic clip enables decoupling of the first connector and the second connector in the disengagement position. The safety locking member contacts the elastic clip in the locking position and prevents movement of the elastic clip from the engagement position toward the disengagement position.
