Embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for visualization of workload distribution on server resources. A computer identifies a profile, wherein the profile corresponds to a role of an individual associated with one or more servers. The computer identifies data that includes a degree of resource utilization that corresponds to the identified profile. The computer generates a visualization of the identified data that includes the degree of resource utilization that corresponds to the identified profile, wherein the visualization includes depictions of resource utilization, distribution of a workload deployed on the one or more servers, and total quantity of available resources of the one or more servers. In another embodiment, the computer initiates display of the generated visualization of the identified data that includes the degree of resource utilization that corresponds to the determined profile.

Visualization of workload distribution on server resources

A computer-implemented method for displaying graphical representation of legends in a data visualization engine is provided. The computer-implemented method includes receiving input to configure a plurality of swatches of the legends of graphical charts, the input comprises at least one of a threshold number of swatches, an identification of graphical area for displaying the swatches, and a size or a data of the swatches for display in the graphical charts of the data visualization engine. The computer-implemented method further includes modifying the legend swatches, based on the received input. The computer-implemented method further includes generating a plurality of graphical charts of the data visualization engine for displaying the swatches, based on the modification, wherein the display is generated randomly, based on at least one user preference for displaying the swatches.

Display of graphical representations of legends in virtualized data formats

Embodiments of the present invention include a method, computer program product, and system for generating a visualization of an optimized project. The computer receives a project and a period of interest associated with the project. The computer determines a constraint status for each constraint associated with the project. The computer generates a graphical element that illustrates the constraint status. The computer generates a visualization of the project during the period of interest, wherein the visualization includes concentric geometric structures and the graphical element.

Dynamic visualization for optimization processes

Exemplary embodiments of the present invention disclose a method, computer program product, and system for optimizing a clustered virtual computing environment. In exemplary embodiments, performance attributes are identified for a set of operating devices within the clustered virtual computing environment. Historical data of the identified performance attributes is obtained to create a historical data repository. A rulebase is developed using the historical data repository and input from user. A combined correlation pattern repository is generated using a first correlation pattern, a second correlation pattern and a scale-time invariant weight fraction.

Optimizing a clustered virtual computing environment

In response to a performance parameter of a virtual machine (VM) exceeding a threshold, an operation to be performed relative to the VM is identified. A resource requirement of performing the operation is determined using a resource requirement thresholds hierarchy. The resource requirement thresholds hierarchy is usable for computing the resource requirement of the operation when the operation is performed at a specified level in a hierarchy within a virtualized environment where the VM is executing. A violation value resulting from performing the operation is determined using a violation value thresholds hierarchy. If the resource requirement and the violation value do not exceed a resource requirement threshold and a violation value threshold respectively, a first configuration of the VM is revised to a second configuration of the VM. The second configuration includes a result of performing the operation relative to the VM at the specified level in the hierarchy.
