Embodiments of this disclosure disclose provisioning a cloud service on a vehicle. The method may include, in response to receiving a registration request for cloud services for a vehicle and determining a geographical location of the vehicle based on the registration request. The method may further include identifying cloud services available to the geographical location and extracting capability information of the vehicle from real time series data of the vehicle. The method may further include determining cloud services applicable to the vehicle from the cloud services available to the geographical location based on the extracted capability information of the vehicle and in response to receiving a service subscription request from the vehicle, provisioning on the vehicle a cloud service applicable to the vehicle corresponding to the service subscription request.

Method and system for provisioning cloud service on vehicle

Systems, method, and computer-readable storage media for controlling item retrieval processes from an item and storage infrastructure are disclosed. The disclosed techniques utilize an automated guided vehicle (AGV) and real-time feedback to validate the item retrieval process is performed correctly. Item retrieval may be performed autonomously by an AGV equipped with item retrieval components, such as hydraulic arms, pistons, and other components and control logic, or may be performed as a user-aided process, where feedback is provided to the user to instruct the user which item is to be retrieved and the user then loads the item onto the AGV. The AGV is configured to utilize a coordinate system to facilitate automated navigation along a series of determined waypoints during the item retrieval process. Additionally, feedback or instructions may be provided to a user device (e.g., for user-aided processes) to assist with the item retrieval process.

A digital manufacturing system includes a web portal to receive product configuration information. An enterprise resource planning subsystem generates a production order based on the product configuration information, and determines a manufacturing resource plan and production steps for manufacturing the product. A manufacturing execution subsystem generates an identifier for the manufacturing resource plan, and communicate the manufacturing resource plan and the production steps to a production control subsystem controlling machines performing the manufacturing of the product according to the manufacturing resource plan and the production steps. A production control subsystem stores the identifier in a near field communication chip attachable to the product during the manufacturing to provide real-time tracking of the manufacturing throughout the steps. An empirical analysis subsystem connects to different social media applications to determine sentiment of the manufactured product.

According to an example of the present disclosure, a system is disclosed. The system comprises at least one sensing unit and a robotics engine in communication with the at least one sensing unit. The at least one sensing unit detects stock information associated with an item. The robotics engine performs a trend analysis based on the stock information collected over a predefined duration of time, and determines a threshold value based on the trend analysis. Furthermore, the robotics engine generates an alert when the stock information is below the threshold value, and selects a vendor based on one or more predefined parameters. The robotics engine also generates an instruction to obtain the replacement item from the selected vendor for replenishing the item in an inventory.
