An adjustable, configurable hat is described that can be configured to accommodate a variety of hairstyles. In general, the adjustable, configurable hat has a crown member, an enlarged opening and a panel that is releasably attachable to the crown member. In one example, the adjustable, configurable hat generally has an open configuration and a closed configuration. In the closed configuration, the panel is releasably attached to the crown member by the fastening mechanisms, covers the enlarged opening and generally has the appearance of a hat that is not adjustable and configurable. In the open configuration, the panel is releasably attached to the inside of the crown member by the fastening members such that it is not visible when the hat is worn and the enlarged opening allows the wearer of the hat to wear a variety of hairstyles while wearing the hat. In both configurations, the fastening mechanisms and the panel are hidden by the crown member. In another example, the crown is split down the back center to have a left and right half and the hat can be configured to its open configuration by separating the left half from the right half and folding each half inside two respective pockets inside the hat.

Adjustable, configurable hat

In one embodiment, a plurality of images is received. The plurality of images are frames of a video file. A user requests for a thumbnail picture representative of the plurality of images. The plurality of images are filtered to obtain a set of images. The filtering can be based on a blurriness of the image, whether an image is near a scene transition, an amount of text depicted in the image, or a color level of the image. Valence scores may be determined for one or more of the images in the set of images. Valence scores are based on determining values of characteristics of an image that can predict user responses to the image. A first image from the set of images is selected based at least in part on the valence score of the first image. The first image is sent for display.

Selecting a high valence representative image

Access is provided to optimal thumbnails that are extracted from a stream of video. Using a processing device configured with a model that incorporates preferences generated by the brain and behavior from the perception of visual images, the optimal thumbnail(s) for a given video is/are selected, stored and/or displayed.

Automated thumbnail selection for online video

A means for removably attaching a printing plate to a printing cylinder using an intermediate sheet of photopolymer. The tack of the photopolymer is used to attach itself to the printing cylinder and to attach the printing plate to it. Microspheres are incorporated into the photopolymer sheet to provide a cushioning effect when in use on the printing press.

A method of producing a relief image from a liquid photopolymerizable resin, said method comprising the steps of: a) placing a coverfilm onto an exposure glass; b) casting a liquid photopolymerizable resin layer onto the coverfilm; c) laminating a substrate to a backside of the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer as the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer is being cast onto the coverfilm; d) placing an image or film negative on top of the substrate; and e) exposing the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer through the image or film negative from the backside of the liquid photopolymerizable resin layer to selectively crosslink and cure the photopolymerizable resin layer and form a cured relief image, wherein said depth of the cured relief image is less than the height of the cast liquid photopolymerizable resin.
