A network device (e.g., a user equipment (UE), a new radio NB (gNB), or other network component) can process or generate a dynamic Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) repetition indication that provides parameters about PUSCH repetition(s) for the uplink within one, two or other number of slots of a New Radio (NR) communication as an Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication. The network device can also process or generate one or more multiple Configuration-Grant (CG) PUSCH configurations. The presence of a repetition level bit-field in a Downlink Control Information (DCI) carrying UL grant or activating UL configured grant PUSCH can be controlled by semi-static UE-specific RRC signaling enabling or disabling the dynamic signaling of PUSCH repetitions.

Physical uplink shared channel enhancements for new radio ultra-reliable low-latency communication

Various embodiments herein provide techniques for downlink and uplink resource mapping for full duplex communication, e.g., non-overlapping sub-band-full duplex (NOSB-FD) communication that includes a frequency resource for uplink communication and a frequency resource for downlink communication. Techniques for downlink and uplink resource mapping for full duplex and non-cell defining synchronization signal block

Described is an apparatus of a User Equipment (UE). The apparatus may comprise a first circuitry, a second circuitry, and a third circuitry. The first circuitry may be operable to process one or more configuration transmissions from the gNB carrying a rule for Uplink (UL) collisions and process a first Downlink (DL) transmission and a second DL transmission. The second circuitry may be operable to identify a first UL transmission for the first DL transmission and a second UL transmission for the second DL transmission, the first UL transmission overlapping with the second UL transmission in at least one Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbol. The third circuitry may be operable to generate at least one of the first UL transmission and the second UL transmission in accordance with the rule for UL collisions.

Handling collision for mini-slot-based and slot-based transmission

An apparatus and system to enable URLLC PUSCH repetitions in the unlicensed spectrum are described. The number of consecutive PUSCH repetitions indicated in the RRC parameter is reinterpreted as the number of transmission occasions over which the UE is able to attempt CCA. An orphan symbol is used to provide a DMRS transmission or cyclic prefix of the PUSCH transmission causing the orphan symbol. Whether a CG-UCI is piggybacked in a PUSCH transmission, and whether DCI-DFI is used, is dependent on whether cg-RetransmissionTimer is configured.

Repetition schemes for URLLC operating in unlicensed spectrum

Systems, devices, and techniques for antenna port configuration in wireless communication systems are described. A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving configuration information that determines a bit-width value for an antenna port indication field of a downlink control information (DCI) format; receiving a DCI message that is in accordance with the DCI format; and determining an antenna port configuration for one or more demodulation reference signals based on the DCI message, the configuration information, and the bit-width value.

System and method for DMRS antenna port indication for URLLC

The disclosure describes mechanisms for reliability enhancement on control channel and data channel and mechanisms in URLLC. An apparatus of a RAN node for URLLC includes baseband circuitry to configure at least one DCI for scheduling transmission of at least one PDSCH content having same information. For each DCI, the baseband circuitry determines a CORESET for transmitting the DCI. The disclosure further describes mechanisms for the support of low latency transmission in URLLC. To improve peak data rate and spectrum efficiency in FDD system, the RAN node configures a DCI for scheduling data transmission using blank resources of a self-contained slot structure. Further, CBG-based transmission with separate HARQ-ACK feedback is provided to configure a DCI for scheduling data transmission of a TB and to divide the TB into multiple CBGs, and to configure uplink control data to carry separate HARQ feedback for the CBGs.

Enhancement of performance of ultra-reliable low-latency communication

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for a user equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system using an unlicensed spectrum. The UE includes a processor circuitry and radio front end circuitry coupled with the processor circuitry. The processor circuitry is configured to determine UE processing time for a first physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission and a second PDSCH transmission, and an additional processing time corresponding to the first and the second PDSCH transmissions. The processor circuitry is configured to process a hybrid automatic repeat and request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) assessment information for inclusion in a subframe on a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) following the UE processing time and the additional processing time. The radio front end circuitry is configured to receive the first and the second PDSCH transmissions from a base station, and transmit the HARQ-ACK assessment information on the PUCCH to the base station.

User equipment processing time relaxation for multi-DCI NC-JT PDSCH reception

Embodiments of a User Equipment (UE), generation Node-B (gNB) and methods of communication are generally described herein. The UE may receive, from a gNB, a narrowband physical downlink control channel (NPDCCH) that indicates a number of narrowband internet-of-things (NB-IoT) downlink subframes for a downlink scheduling delay of a narrowband physical downlink shared channel (NPDSCH) in one or more radio frames configured for time-division duplexing (TDD) operation. Subframes of the one or more radio frames may include uplink subframes, NB-IoT downlink subframes for downlink NB-IoT transmissions, and downlink subframes for other downlink transmissions. The UE may determine the downlink scheduling delay based on an earliest subframe for which a count of NB-IoT downlink subframes is equal to the number of NB-IoT downlink subframes indicated in the NPDCCH.

Downlink transmission in TDD supporting feNB-IoTs

Technology for an eNodeB operable to apply scrambling to coded bits transported via a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) to a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The eNodeB can generate a code word that comprises coded bits for transmission to the UE. The UE can be a bandwidth-reduced low complexity (BL) UE or a coverage enhancement (CE) UE. The eNodeB can identify, for the BL UE or the CE UE, a scrambling sequence to be applied to the coded bits. The scrambling sequence can be initialized using a defined initialization value (c). The eNodeB can apply the scrambling sequence with the defined initialization value to the coded bits to obtain scrambled coded bits. The eNodeB can encode the scrambled coded bits for transmission to the UE via the PDSCH.

The UE may receive an indication of a parameter d to use for determining a start of a reference UL resource (RUR). The parameter d may be UE-specific. The UE may further receive a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) that includes a downlink control information (DCI) to indicate that a UL transmission is to be canceled in a RUR. The UE may determine a starting symbol of the RUR based on the parameter d. In embodiments, the UE may scale the parameter d based on a first subcarrier spacing (SCS) associated with the parameter d and a second SCS associated with the uplink transmission to obtain a scaled parameter d' that is used to determine the starting symbol of the RUR. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.

Techniques for cancelation of one or more uplink transmissions from a user equipment

Systems, devices, and techniques for indicating the number of repetitions for a downlink control information (DCI) message are described. A described technique includes transmitting an indication of a repetition number for a downlink control information (DCI) message having a predetermined format for transmit power control (TPC) of an uplink channel by a user equipment (UE); and transmitting, to the UE via a machine-type communications physical downlink control channel (MPDCCH), repetitions of the DCI message in accordance with the predetermined format and in accordance with the repetition number. The predetermined format can based on a DCI format 3 or 3A for bandwidth-reduced low-complexity or coverage enhanced (BL/CE) UEs.

Systems and methods of early termination of uplink data transmissions for a UE are described. The UE transmits capacity information that indicates that the UE supports use of an ETS. The ETS indicates successful reception by the eNB of the uplink data prior to an end of a scheduled transmission period to transmit repeated instances of the data. The UE receives a schedule for repeated transmissions of the data that is based on a coverage level of the UE, and then transmits sets of one or more repetitions. After the transmission, the UE monitors a predetermined resource whether the ETS is present or whether the ETS indicates an ACK. If the ETS indicates successful reception, the UE terminates transmission of the remaining repetitions of the data and enters a sleep mode or transmits other uplink data.
