The techniques include obtaining a process, wherein the process comprises one or more groups, and creating a nomenclature to represent the one or more groups, wherein the nomenclature facilitates usability of the process in at least one of an operation and design environment. Techniques are also provided for generating a database of one or more processes, wherein each process is represented by a nomenclature.
