A fish tape reel assembly includes a housing having a peripheral wall defining an outer wall of a cavity having a center. A housing handle is attached to the peripheral wall, and a fish tape cassette is rotatably mounted in the cavity. The cassette rotates in the cavity to wind and unwind fish tape thereon to retract or extend the tape to and from the housing in a feed direction which is perpendicular to the housing handle. A handle on the cassette pivots to lock the cassette into a locked position which prevents the cassette from rotating. A fish tape end piece is wedge shaped to create a path between surfaces requiring separation.

A voltage tester has an indicator housing and two separate probes connected to the housing by lead wires. One or more visual indicators are provided on the top surface of the indicator housing which wrap around to the sides and front of the indicator housing, and the bottom of the indicator housing has a clip into which the probe handles may be snapped from the sides of the clip so as to hold the probes beneath the indicator housing with the probe tips extending forward of the indicator housing and spaced a distance apart so as to fit into the blade openings of an ordinary wall outlet.

A cylindrical ferrule having internal threads is joined to a fiberglass fish tape having an outside diameter smaller than the inside diameter of the internal threads. An adhesive between the fish tape and the threads bond the fiberglass and fills voids between the fish tape and threads. The cured adhesive bonded to the fish tape acts on bearing surfaces of the threads to resist loosening and pulling away from the ferrule.

A manually operated conduit bender head for bending electrical conduit, tubing, and the like has a sighting point defined on a lateral side of the handle socket which projects from the handle socket in a plane perpendicular to the handle and bead projections spaced along the length of the side of the shoe to provide reliable sighting of the bend angle imparted by the tool to the conduit or tubing.

A fish tape locator has a first threaded end for fixing to the end of a fish tape and an opposite second end which emits light to help locate the end of the fish tape when it is being fished through a blind space. The first end is provided with a cross-bore for connecting the locator to a string, chain, hook or other line.

A battery cover and vent cap interface seal for electrical storage batteries is disposed between the vent opening in the battery cover and the vent cap to establish a fluid-fight seal. In a first embodiment an annular sealing member is provided in each vent opening in the battery cover. The sealing members extend slightly beyond the inner periphery of the vent opening in the cover and are compressed by the vent cap plugs as the vent cap is installed. In a second embodiment annular sealing members are provided around each plug on the vent cap. The sealing members extend slightly beyond the outer periphery of the plugs and are compressed as the vent cap is installed on the battery cover. The sealing members are made of a resilient material that deforms more easily than the materials used for the battery cover and vent cap.
