An example of a device () may include a valve body (). The device may include a printing substance transfer window () through the valve body (). The device () may include a printing substance dispensing nozzle () rotatable within the valve body () between a first orientation with an orifice of the printing substance dispensing nozzle () facing an internal face of the valve body () and a second orientation with the orifice () of the printing substance dispensing nozzle () facing the printing substance transfer window (). The device () may include a dispensing-side gasket material () slideable against the internal face of the valve body () when rotating the printing substance dispensing nozzle () between the first orientation and the second orientation.

Rotatable dispensing nozzles

A device may include a dispensable substance container to hold a dispensable substance; a dispensing nozzle attached to the dispensable substance container to dispense the dispensable substance out of an opening in the dispensing nozzle; and a frangible obstruction encompassing the dispensing nozzle and obstructing the opening of the dispensing nozzle wherein the frangible obstruction is to slide along the dispensing nozzle to uncover the opening when broken free from the dispensing nozzle by a wall of a receiving container during an engagement between the dispensable substance container and the receiving container.

An example system may include a processor and a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium storing instructions executable by the processor to determine, during an imaging operation by an imaging component of a printing device, whether a print queue, supplied by the imaging component, will be depleted by a printing component of the printing device prior to a completion of the imaging operation; and adjust, based on the determination, a media feed rate of the printing component.

An example device can include a reserve print materials container, an access port coupled to the reserve print materials container to receive, from a replenishment device, print materials directly to the reserve print materials container in-situ, and a main print materials container coupled to the reserve print materials container to receive print materials from the reserve print materials container.

A device () includes a sensor () to determine a capacitance between a first metal piece () coupled to a paper tray () of a printing device () and a second metal piece () coupled to a paper width adjuster () of the printing device (). The device () also includes a controlled () coupled to the sensor () comprising a processor () in communication with a memory resource () including executable instructions to determine a size of paper in the paper tray () based on the determined capacitance.

Example implementations relate to print substance donor containers. For example, a system comprising a receiving container with a receiving receptacle port and a donor container comprising a outlet probe to transport print substance material from the donor container to the receiving container in response to the outlet probe coupling with the receiving receptacle port of the receiving container.

Print substance donor containers

An example device capable of predicting print substance end-of-life (EOL) comprises a container to hold a print substance, the container comprising a refill port through which print substance is to be introduced into the container. The example device also comprises a processor to receive signals indicative of an amount of print substance introduced via the refill port. The processor is also to predict a print substance end-of-life (EOL) based on the amount of print substance introduced.

Print substance end-of-life predictions

Examples disclosed herein relate to unlocking consumables of imaging devices. Example imaging devices include a lock to secure a consumable to the imaging device. A feedback engine of the imaging device may selectively generate a signal in response to an actuation event to control a component to indicate the consumable is secured. A lock control engine of the imaging device may determine if the actuation event is approved to unlock the consumable. A release engine of the imaging device may disengage the lock in response to approval of the actuation event.

Unlocking consumables

According to examples, a printer may include a processor and a memory on which is stored machine readable instructions that may cause the processor to access an instruction to print a print job of a user and determine whether the user is moving toward the printer. In response to a determination that the user is moving toward the printer, the instructions may cause the processor to initiate printing of the print job.

Print job initiation based upon direction of user movement

A seal removal structure can include a shell and a piercing member. The shell can have a first end section and a second end section. The first end section can be configured to receive a supply conduit of a supply fluid container and the second end section can be dimensioned to receive a receiving conduit of a container device. Additionally, the piercing member can be provided within the first end section to penetrate a seal of the supply conduit when the supply conduit is received by the first end section. Moreover, the piercing member can incise at least a portion of the seal from the supply conduit when the supply conduit or the piercing member rotates, while the supply conduit is received by the first end section.

Seal removal structure

According to an example, a printer may receive an instruction to print a print job of a user and determine parameters of the print job. The printer may perform heuristic analysis of the print job based on the parameters of the print job and previously collected printing heuristic statistics of the user and adjust user printer configurations based on the heuristic analysis.

Heuristic-based acoustic emission and energy conservation

Example implementations relate to shafts with blades with tapered surfaces consistent with the disclosure. For example, a device including a shaft, a blade with a plurality of tapered surfaces, the surfaces tapered from a center of the shaft to an outer edge of the shaft, and a membrane attached to the plurality of tapered surfaces to facilitate print substance transport from the center of a print substance container towards the edges of the print substance container.

Examples described herein relate to a system consistent with the disclosure. For instance, the system may comprise a valve body having a first opening, a print substance valve disposed inside of the valve body including a second opening, and a liner coupled to the print substance valve including a third opening, where the liner is to clean print substance, when present, from the system responsive to the transition of the system into either of a closed position or an open position.
