An integrated resistance spring force assembly machine which is incorporated into an exercise machine and having a plurality of internal transverse sections with each section having respective constant force springs to output a respective magnitude of a spring resistance force, which serves as the respective force loads when in use, and a force selection mechanism which can be used to selectively activate the respective springs so that the respective force loads can be output to a combined level of resistance for an exercise routine.

Step for a multi-use move, lift and support device

An abdominal exercise machine is provided which includes a seat, which is pivotally linked to a base frame. At least one link includes a handle that can be actuated by a user sitting on the seat. The user presses the handle away from the seat by flexing the trunk muscles of the user. This curls the user's body into a flexed trunk position. As the handle is actuated forward, the linkage arrangement causes the seat to displace upward. This pushes the center of gravity of the user up, thereby doing work and thereby providing resistance to the movement caused by the exercise. The handle may be adjustable in position relative to the link, thereby varying the load used by the user. Foot supports may also be provided either in front of the seat or behind the seat. The foot supports may be mounted to the frame of the seat frame which supports the seat.

A combination hand truck, dolly and step ladder device includes a hand truck frame and a step ladder frame that are pivotally attached to one another and can be fixed at selective angles with respect to each other to form a hand truck, a dolly and a step ladder. In a step ladder configuration, the top step of a step assembly is secured to a cross member of the hand truck frame so as to lock the hand truck frame and the step ladder frame into a substantially fixed relationship to one another. In a dolly configuration, the hand truck frame becomes the handle for the dolly, and is held in place by a support bar that pivotally attaches to the hand truck frame and secures to the step ladder frame.

Multifunction rocking exercise device

An exercise apparatus that exercises at least three groups of muscles is disclosed. The apparatus exercises the hamstring muscle, the quadriceps muscle and the maximus gluteus muscle. The apparatus utilizes a seated position for the person exercising and incorporates a padded portable seat sitting on a surface. The exercise apparatus also contains rectangular backrest. Two arms are also provided on each side of the exercise equipment. When a person pushes against the backrest, and pushes the arms forward, the exercise apparatus rotates lifting the person exercising off the surface such that the above three groups of muscles are exercised.

An exercise apparatus that exercises at least four groups of muscles is disclosed. The exercise apparatus exercises at least the calf muscles, the hamstring muscles, the quadriceps muscles and the maximus gluteus muscle. The apparatus utilizes a seated position and incorporates an elastomeric tension member to provide the resistance. The exercise apparatus incorporates a backrest and a footrest. When a person exercising pushes against the backrest, the backrest rotates listing the person exercising such that the four muscle groups are exercised.

An Exercise Apparatus having two parallel springs attached to a frame on each end. The frame is spaced apart by a rotating hand grip located at the end of each spring. The frame has a predetermined length, and is also spaced apart by a rotating band that fits around the forearm of the exerciser. A hand truck, stepladder and basket carrier is disclosed. The combination is a portable and collapsible unit that converts into a hand truck having two wheels, a stepladder having the wheels raised and locked into place and a basket carrier attached to the hand truck. The basket is collapsed into the hand truck frame when not in use.

A compact, portable exercise machine includes a base, a pair of receiving means, a pair of parallel support bars fitting slidably within the receiving means, a body support platform, a resistance device, a cable, pulleys, and a cable tightening means. The base has a forward end and an after end and has the first and second receiving means located between the two ends. The support bars each has a forward end and an after end and are joined at these ends by front and rear connecting bars. The platform has a forward end and an after end and is attached to the front connecting bar and the rear connecting bar. Seat, head-rest and foot rests are attached to the platform. The resistance device is removably attached at its upper end adjacent the forward end of the body support platform and removably attached at its lower end adjacent the forward end of the base. A first pulley is attached adjacent the after end of the base. The cable tightening means is attached to the support bars. The cable is attached at its first end to the rear connecting bar, passes through the first pulley, and is attached at its second end to the cable tightening means. When the cable tightening means is operated by a user in either of a first and a second direction, the after end of the body support platform is urged toward the base against the resistance device and the weight of the user.

The exercise apparatus has a seat and two legs formed on a semi-circle frame. Two rotatable arms have vertical adjusting means to accommodate persons of different statue. The present invention can be folded into a compact, easily transportable and storable unit.
