A coupler has a housing including a first end configured to couple to an autonomous guided vehicle (AGV) and a second end having a receptacle. A cabinet operably couples to the housing and is at least partially disposed within the receptacle. A magnetic element is disposed at least partially within the cabinet. The magnetic element is configured to magnetically engage with a portion of a towable cart for transport by the AGV.

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for systems and methods for an adjustable conveyer system. The adjustable system may include one or more conveyor systems, a support structure for a first end of the conveyor system, a support structure for the second end of the conveyor system, and a lift system. The lift system may be actuated to cause the first end of the conveyor system to raise to a height that is higher or lower than the second end of the conveyor system. The adjustable system may be used to distribute packages to containers of various heights and sizes. In one example, the lift system may include a crank shaft. In another example, the lift system may involve a pulley system.

A container may hold one or more items and be associated with a customer order. The container may be identified as it moves along an inventory conveyance system. In response to identifying the container, a message may be selected that corresponds to one or more aspects of the customer order. The selected message may be provided to a laser marking system in a manner that allows the laser marking system to apply the message to the container as it moves along the inventory conveyance system.

Described herein are systems and techniques for determining a pack station for storing inventory in a materials handling facility, routing item packages to pack stations based on size ranges for custom containers and optimizing dimensions of custom containers based on dimensions of a shipping container. For example, the systems described herein may allocate a percentage of inventory to a custom inventory location that is physically near custom container forming devices, thereby reducing the cost to pick, sort, pack and route items for shipment, storing or otherwise handling in a custom container.

The disclosure describes a system for applying custom branded tape to packages that are shipped from a multi-seller materials handling facility. In some implementations, a materials handling facility may store, process and ship items for multiple sellers. As items are packed for shipping, a tape dispensing device may dispense custom branded tape associated with the seller of the item(s) being packed such that the sellers brand, logo or other information is presented on the exterior of the container.
