A cable support, cable support assembly, and method of supporting a cable is disclosed. The cable support includes a body having a base portion and a ball portion with a cable channel to receive a cable therethrough. The body includes a plurality of axial segments movable between an open position to access the cable channel and a closed position to enclose the cable in the channel. The base portion has a cavity to receive the ball portion of another cable support whereby the cable is flexibly supported.

A conveyance system and method for delivering at least one component of a windmill to a location is provided. The system is provided with a transporter and a transfer system. The transporter is positionable adjacent a base at the location. The transfer system is provided with a plurality of rails, a support and at least one slider. The rails are positionable on the base and the transporter. The support has a first portion of the rails of the transporter thereon. The support is positionable along a second portion of the rails on a surface of the transporter, and slidably movable between a retracted and an extended position whereby the support is selectively positionable adjacent the base. The slider carries the component(s) of the windmill. The slider is slidably movable along the rails of the transporter and the base whereby the component(s) is/are slidably transferable between the transporter and the base.

Windmill conveyance system and method for using same

The techniques herein relate to a blowout preventer a tubular of a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The blowout preventer includes a housing having a bore therethrough, a segment carrier positionable in the housing, and a piston. The segment carrier includes a carrier ring for receiving the tubular and a plurality of segments pivotally movable radially thereabout. The piston is operatively connectable to the plurality of segments and actuatable for moving the plurality of segments between a disengaged and an engaged position about the tubular.

The techniques herein relate to a blowout preventer a wellhead of a wellbore penetrating a subterranean formation. The blowout preventer includes a housing having a bore therethrough, a segment carrier positionable in the housing, and a piston. The segment carrier includes a carrier ring for receiving the mandrel and a plurality of segments pivotally movable radially thereabout. The piston is operatively connectable to the plurality of segments and actuatable for moving the plurality of segments between a disengaged and an engaged position about the mandrel.

A handler for handling at least one component of a windmill is provided. The handler is provided with at least one grip and a bracing. The grip(s) are for releasably receiving the component(s) of the windmill. The grip has at least one foot positionable on a base for supporting the component(s) of the windmill on a surface thereof. The bracing is operatively connectable to the grip(s), and is receivable by a carrier for transport thereby whereby the component(s) is/are transportable by the carrier.

A dual-flow valve includes an inner valve body defining a first flow path and an outer valve body circumscribing the inner valve body. The outer valve body and the inner valve body define a second flow path. The dual-flow valve includes a valve element disposed across the first flow path and the second flow path. The valve element has a first passage for selective flow alignment with the first flow path and a second passage for selective flow alignment with the second flow path. A dual flow swivel includes an upper and lower swivel body, with the lower body adapted to rotate relative to the upper body. Two separate flow paths extend through the swivel bodies allowing upwardly and downwardly directed flows through the swivel bodies.

The transporter is positionable adjacent a base at the location. The transfer system is provided with a plurality of rails, a support and at least one slider. The support is positionable along a second portion of the rails on a surface of the transporter, and slidably movable between a retracted and an extended position whereby the support is selectively positionable adjacent the base. Methods and apparatuses for wellbore operations
