A network projector interface system is provided. In one embodiment, the system includes client software stored on a recordable medium and at least partially executable on a client computer on a network, where the client software provides a client interface configured to aid a user in directing a presentation file to a selected network projector. The system also includes presentation manager software stored on a recordable medium executable on the network, where the presentation manager software produces a presentation manager configured to manage storage and access to the presentation file, and a network projector coupled to a projector computer, where the projector computer is coupled to the network and communicates with the presentation manager to display the presentation file on the selected network projector.

Network projector interface system

A system and methods for managing a plurality of projector devices over a computer network are provided. The system includes a projector manager linked to a computer network, wherein the projector manager is configured to monitor over the network a status of a selected feature of a selected projector device, and to change the status of the selected feature when requested. The system also includes a projector manager controller linked to the computer network, wherein the projector manager controller is configured to request the projector manager to perform at least one of the functions of reporting the status of the selected feature and requesting the selected projector device to change the status of the selected feature.

Projector device management system

A remote projector and administration control method and apparatus enables the integration of presentation projector resources in an networked enterprise environment. A projector server computer connected to the network hosts one or more presentation data/video projectors. Alternatively, a network enabled projector functions as both the projector server host and projector. Residing on the projector server host are a repository for storing presentation data and user profiles, a projector server and three interfaces: a projector interface to communicate with the hosted projector, a host discovery interface to discover other projector server hosts or network enabled projectors on the network, and a host interface to interact with the identified hosts using the facilities of the remote projector and administration method and apparatus. The host discovery interface discovers the identity of other active projector servers or network enabled projectors on the network. The host interface enables clients to get or set information controlling the identified active projector servers or network enabled projectors, including administering the security, operation, and maintenance of the projectors. The projector server serves web content obtained from the three interfaces to clients using a standard web server.
