A light valve device includes a driving substrate having a shading zone and a photic zone. A shading unit includes a first shading plate, two driving devices, and second shading plates respectively connected to the two driving devices. The driving devices and the first shading plate are fixed in the shading zone adjacent to the driving substrate. The first shading plate is between the two driving devices. The driving devices are operable to drive the two second shading plates close to the first shading plate to make the second shading plates face the photic zone of the driving substrate for preventing light entering the driving substrate. By locating the light valve device under the sub pixel, the dynamic contrast can be raised to promote the display effect.

Light valve and display device

A touch display panel and a display device are disclosed. The touch display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a first solder pad, a second solder pad and a touch sensing layer. The first substrate is defined with a display region and a non-display region. In the present invention, the first solder pad is disposed at a substrate having the touch sensing layer. That is, the first substrate is provided with a non-display region having the second solder pad. A wider black masking region for the first solder pad and corresponding trace region is not required so that an edge frame of the display device can be reduced, which is beneficial for a narrow-frame design of the display device.

Touch display pane and display device

A blue phase liquid crystal display module and device, and a method for manufacturing the same are disclosed. The module includes an upper substrate, a lower substrate disposed oppositely, multiple blue phase liquid crystal molecules disposed between the upper substrate and the lower substrate, multiple upper common electrodes disposed in parallel and spaced at intervals on the upper substrate, multiple lower common electrodes disposed in parallel and spaced at intervals on the lower substrate, wherein the lower common electrodes are staggered with the upper common electrodes, and a pixel electrode disposed on the lower substrate, wherein, the pixel electrode is a hollow concave-convex structure, the pixel electrode has alternating projections and depressions such that multiple oblique electric fields are generated among the pixel electrode, the upper common electrodes and the lower common electrodes in order to drive the blue phase liquid crystal molecules.

Blue phase liquid crystal display module, blue phase liquid crystal display device and manufacturing method for the same

The display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, a color filtering layer, and a spacer. The first substrate includes a non-active area and an active area. The second substrate is opposite to the first substrate. The color filtering layer is arranged on the first substrate. The color filtering layer includes a plurality of color filters, and a through hole is formed between adjacent color filters. One end of the spacer has been arranged within the through hole and the other end of the spacer supports the second substrate. In this way, the stability of the spacer is enhanced and the spacer is prevented from being detached.

The present invention provides a display panel, comprising a brightness enhancement film, a light guide plate and a backlight source, and the brightness enhancement film is located to stack with the light guide plate, and the backlight source is located at a lateral side of the light guide plate, wherein the display panel further comprises a MEMS reflective plate located at a bottom of the light guide plate, and the MEMS reflective plate comprises a control substrate and reflective units, and the control substrate is employed to control working statuses of the reflective units, and the reflective unit comprises a driving unit located at the control substrate and a reflective sheet rotatably connected to the driving unit, and the driving unit is employed to drive the reflective sheet to rotate.

Display panel and electronic device

A display panel and a display device are disclosed. The display panel includes: a first substrate, including a first sealant coating area, wherein the first sealant coating area is provided with a first concave slot; a second substrate, disposed oppositely to the first substrate, and including a second sealant coating area disposed right oppositely to the first sealant coating area; a spacer, the spacer having two terminals, wherein, one terminal of the spacer is fixed to and connected with a bottom of the first concave slot, and the other terminal of the spacer is extended toward the second sealant coating area; and a frame sealant, filled between the first sealant coating area and the second sealant coating area in order to form a sealed liquid crystal filling area. The display panel of the present invention can effectively increase the bonding force of the frame sealant to the substrates.

Display panel and display device

A color-film substrate and a liquid crystal device are disclosed. The color-film includes a substrate body and a color filter layer on the substrate body. The color filter layer includes duplicated color filter elements arranged in a sequence, and the color filter layer includes a first display area and a second display area arranged in a rim of the first display area. A thickness of the color filter elements of the second display area is larger than a thickness of the photo-resistor of the first display area such that a transmission rate of the display panel corresponding to the second display area is smaller than the transmission rate of the display panel corresponding to the first display area. In this way, the transmission rate of edges of the display panel is reduced and the light leakage problem can be overcome such that the uniformity of the brightness is enhanced.

Color-film substrates and liquid crystal devices

A color filter substrate includes a transparent substrate, a patterned light-shielding layer, a plurality of color filter units, and a plurality of dummy color filter units. The transparent substrate has a display region and a peripheral region surrounding the display region. The patterned light-shielding layer is disposed on the transparent substrate, and the patterned light-shielding layer includes a first light-shielding pattern disposed on the display region and a second light-shielding pattern disposed on the peripheral region. The first light-shielding pattern defines a plurality of sub-pixel regions. The color filter units are disposed on the display region. The dummy color filter units are disposed on the peripheral region. Spacing between two adjacent dummy color filter units or spacing between the color filter unit and the adjacent dummy color filter unit is wider than spacing between two adjacent color filter units.

Color filter substrate

An array substrate of a fringe field switching (FFS) mode liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and manufacturing method thereof are provided. The gate electrodes and the common electrode of the FFS mode LCD panel are formed on the array substrate by the same photolithographic process, and the common electrode, the gate lines and the gate electrodes are disposed on the same layer.

Array substrate of fringe field switching mode liquid crystal display panel and method of manufacturing the same

A method of manufacturing a multi-touch LCD panel. A conductive colloidal mixture formed by mixing a plurality of conductive particles and a colloid is coated on the electrode layer of the counter substrate and is solidified to make the conductive particles electrically connect to the corresponding sensing electrodes of the array substrate. Consequently, when an external force is applied to one touching position on the counter substrate, the conductive particles electrically connect the sensing electrodes to the electrode layer and the touching signal of the position can be obtained. Due to the integration of the conductive particles into the liquid crystal cell gap, the multi-touch LCD panel has the advantages of slimness and lightness. Moreover, the manufacturing process of the conductive particles is introduced after the conventional counter substrate manufacturing method, and the objective of simple process, low cost and high yields can be achieved.
