Such techniques further involve acquiring corresponding identity information of a plurality of storage devices in a network in which the storage device cluster is located. Such techniques further involve adding, in response to one piece of identity information in the corresponding identity information being the same as the identity information of the first storage device, the first storage device to the storage device cluster based on the expansion configuration information to form an expanded storage device cluster.
