A pad prosthesis includes a body, a protrusion portion and a snap. The body has a first surface, and the first surface includes a front edge, a curved edge, a rear edge and a straight edge connected sequentially. The protrusion portion is arranged on the first surface of the body. The snap is arranged on the first surface of the body, and the snap extends along a second direction, an angle between the second direction and the first direction is an acute angle. The pad prosthesis according to the present application may be applied in an artificial knee prosthesis.

Pad prosthesis and artificial knee prosthesis having same

A femoral prosthesis includes a femur body and a cam portion. A joint surface of the femur body has a first joint surface portion for abutting a tibial prosthesis within a first knee flexion angle range from a first knee flexion angle to a second knee flexion angle, and a second joint surface portion for abutting the tibial prosthesis within a second knee flexion angle range from the second knee flexion angle to a third knee flexion angle. At the second knee flexion angle, the first joint surface portion has a first radius of curvature, and the second joint surface portion has a second radius of curvature. A center of a circle of an anterior joint surface of the cam portion is located in a first quadrant of a circle with the second radius of curvature in a sagittal section when the femoral prosthesis is in an extended state.

Femoral prosthesis and knee prosthesis with them

A knee prosthesis includes a tibial component, a bearing and a femoral component. The tibial component includes a platform and at least one rib extending upwardly and forwardly, a front edge of upper surface of the platform is provided with at least one front lug boss, and back edge of the upper surface of the platform is provide with at least one back lug boss. The lower surface of the bearing is provided with a groove matching with the at least one rib, a front slot matching with the front lug boss and a back slot; the femoral component is articulated with the bearing; at least one rib is provided with a medial wall and a lateral wall, one of the them is provided with a bent portion and formed with a first inclined surface which extends in a direction away from the other one.

The femoral prosthesis includes a condyle surface having a first surface section contacting a tibial joint surface over a first range of flexion angles and a second surface section contacting the tibial joint surface over a second range of flexion angles; the first range of flexion angles from a first to a second flexion angle; the second range of flexion angles from the second to a third flexion angle; the first flexion angle selected from &#x2212;20&#xb0; to 0&#xb0;, the second flexion angle selected from 45&#xb0; to 75&#xb0;, the third flexion angle selected from 50&#xb0; to 90&#xb0; and the third flexion angle greater than the second flexion angle; the first surface section having a radius of curvature of a constant length, and the second surface section having a radius of curvature that decreases from a front end to the rear end.

An artificial knee joint includes a femoral component () and a tibial component (). The femoral component () includes an intercondylar box (). A cam () is provided on posterior of the intercondylar box (). The tibial component () includes a medial condyle bearing surface () and a lateral condyle bearing surface () arranged on right and left side respectively. A post () is provided between the medial condyle bearing surface () and the lateral condyle bearing surface (). The post () is adapted to the intercondylar box (). The post () has a first arc surface () on the lateral side of posterior surface. The post () has a second arc surface () on the posterior surface and on the medial side of the first arc surface (). A third arc surface () and a forth surface (), cooperating with the first arc surface () and the second arc surface (), are provided on the cam () accordingly. The first arc surface () can cooperate with the third arc surface () so as to guide the femur to rotate laterally with respect to the tibia. The second arc surface () can cooperate with the forth surface () so as to resist the femur to rotate laterally with respect to the tibia. The artificial knee joint can simulate accurately the flexion-extension action of the knee joint, and is safe and reliable.
