A light transmitter and an auto-control circuit thereof are provided. The circuit includes a driving module and a feedback module. The driving module is coupled to the feedback module and a load. The driving module provides a driving current for driving the load. The feedback module provides a bias signal to the driving module according to the change of the temperature, for adjusting the driving current and stabilizing an output power.

Light transmitter and automatic power control circuit thereof

A transimpedance amplifier (TIA) with negative impedance compensation comprises a TIA element and a negative impedance compensator connected to the output terminal of the TIA element. The major components of the negative impedance compensator are a negative impedance element formed by a positive feedback circuit, and a compensation circuit for the parasitic capacitance at the output terminal. The negative impedance compensator changes the equivalent impedance of the output terminal from low to high with respect to the ground, and compensates the parasitic capacitance at the output terminal. Thus, an increase of both bandwidth and voltage gain is achieved.

An analog-to-digital converter device for converting an analog signal into a digital signal includes a comparator array including a plurality of comparators, each of the comparators including a first inverter and a second inverter connected in series with the first inverter, a resistor string including a plurality of resistors connected in series, each of the resistors corresponding to one of the plurality of comparators, and a current generator for providing a constant current flowing through the resistor string.

Inverter-based flash analog-to-digital converter using floating resistor ladder

A laser driver. The laser driver comprises a diode driver, a power detector, a first extreme detector, a second extreme detector and a current controller. The diode driver receives bias and modulation currents to control a laser diode for generating light signals. The power detector detects optical power of the light signals. The first and second extreme detectors, both coupled to the power detector, detect the first and second extreme values among detected optical power. The first extreme value is either the maximum or the minimum optical power of the light signals, while the second extreme value is the other.
