Various arrangements for performing health monitoring of cellular network functions in a cloud-computing environment are presented. A cloud computing region may be input for analysis. A 5G cellular network core may be implemented on a cloud computing platform. Input of a cellular core function for analysis may also be received. Instantiations of the cellular core function and pods of the cellular core function executed within the cloud computing region can be identified. A customized test query can be performed based on the input of the cellular core function. A status of the cellular core function can be output based on the customized test query.

Cellular network health monitoring in a cloud- computing environment

Described herein are embodiments of testing MMS messaging capacity of a wireless network using commercially available client devices. An exemplary method includes receiving, at a multimedia messaging service center (MMSC) of the wireless network, a plurality of seed MMS messages from one or more client devices. Each of the plurality of seed MMS messages is targeted at one of a plurality of destination numbers, none of the plurality of destination numbers is associated with any database that the MMSC uses for routing determination, and each of the plurality of seed MMS messages gets stuck in an infinite loop and keeps generating MMS messages. The method further includes capturing at least a portion of the seed messages and the generated MMS messages; determining that the number of captured MMS messages reaches a predetermined number; and in response to such determination, terminating each of the infinite loops.

Using commercially available user devices for MMS messaging capacity testing

Systems and methods for group monitoring and management of network function statuses are provided. In one example, a method includes: generating a group query for statuses of a plurality of network functions of a network, in response to the group query performing group monitoring of the plurality of network functions to check the real-time status of each one of the plurality of network functions, receiving data corresponding to real-time status of each network function, comparing the data corresponding to real-time status with data corresponding to reference status for each one of the plurality of network functions, identifying presence or absence of an anomaly of each one of the plurality of network functions, based on the comparison, and generating a network function status output including data corresponding to the real-time status and an indication of the presence or absence of an anomaly for each network function.
