A method and device for producing metal wire by sheathing a wire with an elastomer compound coming from an extruder is described herein. The aspects disclosed herein may include a feed canal for feeding a sheathing die, through which the wire is made to pass at a pre-established nominal speed. Various temperatures are controlled during the method based on a variety of parameters such as the measured speed at which the wire is moving is other than the nominal speed.

Method and device for producing rubber-coated metal wire

Method for detecting and evaluating the protrusions that appear on cords coming from a twisting/rubberizing process, by the digital processing of the image of a layer of cord formed by a number of turns wound around the core of a spool (), which method comprises the steps during which: A) the raw digital image of the surface of the layer of cord over one complete revolution of the spool is taken using a linear camera (); B) the raw image is displayed flat so as to limit the influence of the variations in lighting and in the brightness of the wires; C) the flattened image is segmented so as to reveal the dark areas that contain protrusion areas; D) the segmented image is a processed using a series of morphological processing operations in order to separate and select the shapes likely to represent protrusions and areas likely to represent shadows; and E) an evaluation value is assigned to the final image obtained and the evaluation value is compared with a threshold value.

Method and device for the automatic inspection of a cable spool

A support system () designed to connect a wheel () to suspension elements () of an automobile, the support system including a cambering device that confers upon the wheel carrier () a degree of camber freedom relative to the suspension elements, the cambering device including a triple hinge (), the triple hinge including three essentially longitudinal axes, the triple hinge including two flanges () and two levers (), each of the levers being respectively attached to one of the two flanges. In a suspension system that connects a wheel support to a vehicle body, the wheel support is designed to carry a wheel of radius 'r', the wheel is intended to rest on the ground via a contact area, the system includes an arrangement that confers upon the wheel support, relative to the body, a degree of freedom of the camber and a degree of freedom of the deflection of the suspension that are independent of one another.
