A rubber compound for the production of tire portions comprising a polymer base with a cross-linkable unsaturated chain, a filler system and a vulcanization system. The filler system comprises (a) a quantity, greater than or equal to 25 phr, of a first carbon black having a surface area smaller than or equal to 170 m/gr; (b) a second carbon black having a surface area greater than or equal to 300 m/gr in a quantity that is such that the ratio between the quantity of said first carbon black and the quantity of said second carbon black is greater than or equal to 5 and smaller than or equal to 13; (c) a quantity ranging between 0.5 and 2.0 phr of a dispersant agent comprised in the class of aromatic amides and having an unsaturation suited to interact with the polymer base with a cross-linkable unsaturated chain.

Rubber compound for tire portions

A rubber compound for the preparation of portions of pneumatic tyres comprising a cross-linking unsaturated chain polymer base, a filler system and a vulcanization system. The filler system comprises (a) a first carbon black having a surface area less than or equal to 170 m/gr in a quantity greater than or equal to 25 phr; (b) a second carbon black having a surface area greater than or equal to 250 m/gr in a quantity such that the ratio between the quantity of the first carbon black and the quantity of the second carbon black is greater than or equal to 3 and less than or equal to 10; (c) a carbon black dispersing agent in a quantity of less than or equal to 1 phr.

Rubber compound for portions of pneumatic tyres

A method of producing rubber compounds, in which the polymer base is composed partly of a first polymer material having a glass transition temperature of over &#x2212;50&#xb0; C., and partly of a second polymer material having a glass transition temperature of below &#x2212;50&#xb0; C. and silica as a filler. The method includes a preliminary first polymer material treating step, in which the first polymer material, a silica having a surface area of 80 to 135 m/g, a silane bonding agent, and at least one nucleophile agent are mixed together; a preliminary second polymer material treating step, in which the second polymer material, a silica having a surface area of 150 to 220 m/g, a silane bonding agent, and at least one nucleophile agent are mixed together; a mixing step, in which the compounds resulting from the preliminary treating steps are mixed together; and a final step, in which stearic acid and a curing system are added and mixed with the compound being produced.

Rubber tyre compound production method

A method of producing rubber compounds, in which the polymer base is composed partly of a first polymer material, which is either produced by emulsion polymerization or is natural rubber, and partly of a second polymer material produced by solution polymerization. The method includes a preliminary second polymer material treating step, in which the second polymer material, silica, a silane bonding agent, and at least one nucleophile agent are mixed with one another; a first mixing step, in which at least the first polymer material, silica, and a silane bonding agent are added to the compound resulting from the preliminary second polymer material treating step; and a second mixing step, in which stearic acid and a curing system are added to the compound being produced.

Rubber tire compound production method

A rubber compound production method including a first mixing step wherein at least one cross-linkable unsaturated-chain polymer base, silica, and a silane bonding agent in the alkoxymercaptoalkyl-silane class are mixed together; and a following mixing step wherein a curing system having at least sulphur and accelerants is added and mixed to the compound being produced. 0.2 to 5 phr of an accelerant, and 0.5 to 6 phr of a zinc salt of a fatty acid with a carbon atom number of C8 to C24 are added at the first mixing step. The accelerant is from the group of benzothiazyl-cyclohexyl-sulphenamide (CBS), benzothiazole disulphide (MBTS), N-tert-butyl-2-benzothiazylsulphenamide (TBBS), 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (MBT), zinc salts of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (ZMBT), benzothiazyl-2-dicyclohexyl-sulphenamide (DCBS), diphenylguanidine (DPG), triphenylguanidine (TPG), diorthotolyl guanidine (DOTG), o-tolylbiguanidine (OTBG), ethylene thiourea (ETU) and their mixtures.

Tread compound production method

A method of producing a rubber compound, which includes mixing at least one cross-linkable unsaturated-chain polymer base, silica with a surface area of 100-220 m/g, a first silane coupling agent in the polysulphide organosilane class, and a second silane coupling agent in the class of mercaptosilane protected in the form of thioester, and whereby the second silane coupling agent is added to the mix after the first silane coupling agent has reacted with the silica.

Method of producing a tread compound

A method of producing a tire mix, including a first mixing step, in which a mix contains at least one cross-linkable unsaturated-chain polymer base, 10 to 100 phr of silica, and 1 to 20 phr of a silane bonding agent in the trialkoxymercaptoalkyl-silane class; and a final mixing step, in which a curing system is added to the mix. The silane bonding agent is used in adsorbed form on 0.5 to 2 phr of zinc oxide, and on 5 to 15 phr of carbon black. At the first mixing step, the mix contains 1 to 5 phr of one or more fatty acid derivatives, and, at the final mixing step, 1 to 2 phr of zinc oxide is added to the mix. The fatty acid derivatives are derived from condensation of a fatty acid, having a carbon number of 16 to 20, with an alcohol having a carbon number of 2 to 6, or with a primary or secondary amine having a carbon number of 2 to 6.
