A configurable table assembly comprises two table-base sub-assemblies shaped to removably connect together and two table-surface sub-assemblies, each supported by one of the two table-base sub-assemblies. Each table-surface sub-assembly has first and second surface portions, the second surface portion being operable to rest upon the first surface portion and selectively unfold therefrom. The table-base and the table-surface sub-assemblies, together, have a single-table configuration and a double-table configuration. In the single-table configuration, the table-base and the table-surface sub-assemblies are separably mated together to form an integrated table base and an integrated table surface. In the double-table configuration, the table-base sub-assemblies are separated from one another to form two separate tables, each supporting thereon a respective one of the table-surface sub-assemblies. Each of the table-surface sub-assemblies has the second surface portion unfolded away from the first surface portion and onto a portion of one of the table-base sub-assemblies.

Configurable table and methods of use

A configurable table () includes a first table portion () and a second table portion (). The first table portion includes a first upper region () and a first plurality of leg members disposed perpendicular to the first upper region. The second table portion includes a second upper region () and a second plurality of leg members disposed perpendicular to the second upper region. At least one leg member from each of the first and second pluralities of leg members are matched to each other. One of each two matched leg members includes a channeled portion along the length of the leg member. The other matched leg member includes a mating portion such that the channeled portion and the mating portion mate with each other. A method of configuring a table into two separate tables, and vice versa, is provided.

A fashion accessory includes a band of elastic material defining a central opening forming an inner perimeter and fabric surrounding the band. The fabric is shaped so that the fashion accessory has a circular outer perimeter or has an outer perimeter having a plurality of substantially linear sides forming a triangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, septagon or octagon. A pouch for containing small items is formed in the fabric, the pouch being closable by a fastener extending along at least part of the outer perimeter or across from the inner perimeter to the outer perimeter. The fashion accessory may be used as a ponytail holder, headband, wrist band or ankle band or it may be attached to a belt or bag.

A hinged finger ring which is adapted to fit around the base of a finger without slipping is particularly useful for wearing on a finger having an enlarged knuckle. The ring preferably includes ornamented portions attached to first and second shank portions which are hinged together at ends opposite from the ornamented portions. The ring is closed around the finger by latching a male member attached to one of the ornamented portions into a cavity in the other of the ornamented portions. The latch is released to remove the ring by pressing down on the ornamented portion to which the male member is attached, thereby releasing the latch and allowing the ring to be opened.

Hinged finger ring

A variable sized finger ring has a center shank member and first and second side shank members. Each side shank member is hinged at a first end portion to a respective end of the center shank member and a second end portion of each side shank member is hollow. An elongated sizing section extends in the hollow second end portions of the side shank members. The sizing section has a plurality of stops thereon for determining the circumferential size of the ring. A first end of the sizing section is secured within the hollow second end portion of the first side shank member and a second end of the sizing section is retained within the hollow second end portion of the second side shank member. The sizing section is movable to locate one of the plurality of stops in position against a fixed part of the hollow second end portion of the second side shank member, thus fixing the circumferential size of the ring. The ring is adjustable in size between a fully closed position, a fully open position and at least one intermediate position.

Variable sized hinged ring

A jewelry closure includes a magnetic closure and a mechanical closure which is a safety feature, preventing the magnetic closure from being opened inadvertently. A plate-like mechanical closure member attached to one of the magnetic closure members engages a complementarily shaped portion of the other magnetic closure member when the magnetic closure is secured to provide a mechanical second closure for the jewelry. The combined magnetic and mechanical jewelry closure may be used to close chains. The closure may also be disposed on a hinged ring. The ring may be used for passing through ends of a decorative chain as a closure for the chain. The closure may also be used on a hinged ring for wearing on a finger and is particularly useful if the finger joints are swollen. Other uses include adaptation for a hinged charm for closing a chain or for adding to a chain.

Jewelry closure having a magnetic clasp with safety features

A jewelry closure includes a pair of magnetic closure members for magnetically engaging together and a mechanical closure which acts as a second closure or safety feature. One or both closure members includes a magnet. A first closure member of the pair is supported by a casing which extends outwardly to receive the second closure member for magnetic engagement of the members. A mechanical closure acts as a safety feature preventing the two members from being readily separated. The mechanical closure may include screw threaded portions on both the casing and the second closure member or may include a push-click mechanism on the casing and second closure member.

Magnetic jewelry closures with safety features

A jewelry closure includes a magnetic closure and a mechanical closure which is a safety feature, preventing the magnetic closure from being opened inadvertently. The mechanical closure includes a wire member partially embedded in a groove in a first jewelry closure member and a groove for receiving the wire member in a second jewelry closure member. The magnetic and mechanical closures are closed substantially simultaneously.

Jewelry closure having both magnetic and mechanical clasps

A jewelry closure includes a pair of magnetic closure members for magnetically engaging together and a mechanical closure which acts as a second closure or safety feature. One or both closure members includes a magnet. The mechanical closure includes a substantially stiff wire member which pivots about a first member of the closure. An intermediate portion of the wire member is engaged adjacent an end face of the second member of the closure to prevent the magnetic members from being separated until after the wire member is pivoted to the open position. The mechanical closure must be released before the magnetic closure can be released. The jewelry closure includes an end ring on each member for attaching to jewelry. A spring ring closure may optionally be attached to each of these rings for attaching jewelry, such as a chain, to the magnetic closure. Using this feature, the magnetic closure may readily be used as a replacement clasp for jewelry.

Magnetic jewelry closures with wire safety clasp

A jewelry closure includes a pair of closure members for magnetically engaging together. One or both closure members includes a magnet. A first closure member of the pair is supported by a casing which extends outwardly to receive the second closure member when both closure members are magnetically engaged together. The closure is secured by a clip attached to the outer surface of the casing. A portion of the clip lies adjacent an outer end surface of the second closure member when the closure is secured. In closed position the clip prevents the closure members from being separated when the jewelry closure is secured.
