Embodiments are directed towards systems and methods for a system for predictive inter-carrier hand-off to mitigate problematic coverage areas. One such method includes: training a machine learning model using the consolidating user data regarding dropped calls of the end user mobile devices and network problems from data logs as training data; analyzing the user data, using the machine learning model, to determine geographical areas in which repetitive dropped calls of the end user mobile devices or network problems have been identified; predicting, as an output from the machine learning model, future dropped calls of the end user mobile devices and network problems in identified geographical areas; analyzing alternative available carriers or roaming partners to determine whether they have superior service for end user mobile devices in the identified geographical areas; and initiating inter-carrier hand-off of an end user mobile device to another carrier or roaming partner.

An example system and method may manage interference for wireless devices in a non-terrestrial network environment. An example system may determine spectrum blanking ranges for a wireless client device, where the spectrum blanking range restricts wireless frequencies in the spectrum blanking range from being assigned to wireless client devices by ground node. The system may determine a signal quality indicator value for a wireless client device, determine an assignable spectrum range for the wireless client device based on the signal quality indicator value and the spectrum blanking range(s), and assign a channel to the wireless client device using the assignable spectrum range.

Managing interference for wireless devices in a non-terrestrial network environment

Embodiments are directed towards systems and methods for a 5G PRB blanking system with 5G end user mobile devices to prevent interference with satellite signal transmission. One such method includes: configuring a 5G network to enable reversing an original direction of transmission upon request from a 5G end user mobile device; receiving a request to use a specified frequency at a specified time to communicate with the satellite; enabling the base station to stop download transmissions on specified frequency tones at the specified time; creating frequency notches at the specified time that are available for a 5G end user mobile device to upload to the satellite; and facilitating upload transmissions from a 5G end user mobile device to the satellite in the frequency notches at the specified time.

One such method including: recording authentication sequence numbers from the Distributed Subscriber Database to the distributed 5G Cores using a distributed ledger of a blockchain; in response to a lost connection between a 5G Core of the plurality of 5G Cores and the Distributed Subscriber Database, enabling the 5G Core to operate from a local copy of the Distributed Subscriber Database; reconnecting the lost connection between the 5G Core of the plurality of 5G Cores and the Distributed Subscriber Database; accessing the recorded sequence numbers from the Distributed Subscriber Database using the distributed ledger of the blockchain; and obviating the number sequencing issue between the Distributed Subscriber Database and the reconnected 5G Core of the plurality of 5G Cores using the recorded authentication sequence numbers in the distributed ledger of the blockchain.

One such method includes: recording states of one or more 5G end user mobile devices in any 5G network RAN or Core element in a state database using the distributed ledger of the blockchain; in response to a lost connection of a network element, restoring, using the blockchain database, the lost connection of the network element to the network without any interaction with the 5G end user mobile device; accessing the recorded states of the one or more 5G end user mobile devices in the state database on the distributed ledger of the blockchain; and reestablishing the recorded states of the one or more 5G end user mobile devices using the recorded states from the state database in the distributed ledger of the blockchain.

The modular cells each include a cellular radio and collectively perform the function of a cellular base station. A distributed clock is established by transmitting timing beacons from one or more of the modular cells. Each modular cell receives the timing beacons. Each modular cell that transmits a timing beacon provides a transmission timestamp to a cell controller. Each modular cell that receives a timing beacon provides a reception timestamp to the cell controller. The cell controller schedules signal transmissions from the modular cells based on the transmission and reception timestamps.

Method and system for relaying load information between neighboring enterprise networks

A system and method for managing interference between different enterprises operating over the same spectrum. The system includes a central unit of a first enterprise associated with a first cell site; a central unit of a second enterprise associated with a second cell site; and an interface for connecting the central unit of the first enterprise to the central unit of the second enterprise and configured to transmit load information; wherein a central unit of either enterprise is configured to share load information without requiring a standard form between each enterprise via the interface to minimize interference between each enterprise when both enterprises are operating in the same spectrum and an overlapping coverage region between each cell site.

Various arrangements for performing intelligent cellular channel management are presented herein. A physical cellular communication channel may be established between a user equipment (UE) and a cellular network for sending a short message service (SMS) message in response to a cellular service request from the UE. One or more characteristics of the UE, the SMS message, or both may be analyzed. A duration of time for which the physical cellular communication channel is to be kept active may be based on the analyzed one or more characteristics. A channel maintenance instruction may be transmitted to keep the physical cellular communication channel active based on a cellular network messaging controller determining to adjust the duration of time for which the physical cellular communication channel is kept active.

Intelligent cellular channel management

An adaptive fifth generation (5G) communications system includes an adaptive 5G tower; a first adaptive 5G site coupled by a dedicated link with the adaptive 5G tower; and a second adaptive 5G site coupled by a direct link with the first adaptive 5G site. The direct link may be established by the first adaptive 5G site and couples the second adaptive 5G site with the adaptive 5G tower. Data signals may be communicated between the adaptive 5G tower and the second adaptive 5G site via the direct link and the dedicated link. Usage of the direct link is accounted for in a blockchain master ledger. The blockchain master ledger corresponds to an adaptive 5G model and may be separately maintained by each of the adaptive 5G tower, the first adaptive 5G site, and the second adaptive 5G site. The master ledger may include relay, processing, path, power, and transaction layers.
