A system and method including one or more conduits, a pump system, and a controller. The conduits are fluidly coupled with a cooling device that is operably coupled with an engine to cool at least a portion of exhaust from the engine. The pump system pumps a cleaning fluid from a cleaning fluid source through the one or more conduits and into a flow path of a portion of the exhaust from the engine while the engine continues to operate. The controller monitors operation of the engine and determines whether the engine is operating in a designated state. The controller controls the pump system to pump the cleaning fluid into the flow path of a portion the exhaust from the engine to clean the cooling device while the engine operates in the designated state and the exhaust flows from the engine and through the cooling device.

Cleaning system for an engine exhaust cooler

A method that includes coupling an external, removable fuel pressurization system to a fuel system of a vehicle. The fuel system of the vehicle is pressurized with the fuel pressurization system while the vehicle is parked and without activating a fuel consumer (e.g., an engine) of the vehicle. Decay of pressure of the fuel system is monitored following pressurization of the fuel system, and one or more of a leak, or a replaceable component, of the fuel system of the vehicle is detected based on at least in part on the decay of pressure that are monitored.

Fuel system test apparatus and method

A system and method operate by, while an engine is operating, automatically determining whether the engine is in a designated state for EGR cooler cleaning. The EGR cooler is operably coupled to the engine to receive hot EGR from an exhaust of the engine and to provide cooled EGR to an intake of the engine. The system and method also include, responsive to the engine not being in the designated state, automatically preventing a water pump system from introducing a cleaning liquid into a gas inlet of the EGR cooler.

Systems and methods for engine coalescer exhaust extraction are provided. In one embodiment, a system comprises an engine including a crankcase fluidly coupled to a coalescer, a muffler adapted to receive combustion exhaust gases from the engine, and a coalescer exhaust passage fluidly coupling the coalescer to the muffler. The coalescer exhaust passage includes an inlet arranged upstream of the muffler adapted to flow a motive fluid to the coalescer exhaust passage to increase a flow speed of coalescer exhaust through the coalescer exhaust passage.

Systems and methods for engine coalescer exhaust extraction

A method that includes coupling an external, removable fuel pressurization system to a fuel system of a vehicle while the vehicle remains in a confined space. The fuel system of the vehicle is pressurized with the fuel pressurization system while the vehicle remains in the confined space and without activating an engine of the vehicle. Various methods and systems are provided for a drain system for an EGR system of an engine system. In one example, the drain system includes a connector fluidly coupled to each of an intake system, an exhaust system, and a fluid collector, where the connector is positioned vertically below an intake manifold of the intake system and an exhaust passage of the exhaust system and vertically above the fluid collector with respect to a surface on which an engine sits.

Method and systems for draining fluid from an engine

Various methods and systems are provided for an exhaust gas recirculation system. In one example, an exhaust gas recirculation cooler includes an exhaust gas inlet and an exhaust gas outlet spaced from the exhaust gas inlet; a plurality of cooling tubes disposed between the exhaust gas inlet and exhaust gas outlet; and a baffle positioned proximate to the exhaust gas inlet and interposed between the plurality of cooling tubes and the exhaust gas inlet, where the baffle directs exhaust gas entering the EGR cooler through the exhaust gas inlet to the plurality of cooling tubes in a defined path.

Exhaust gas recirculation system and method

A crankcase ventilation system for a turbocharger internal combustion engine comprises an internal combustion engine having a crankcase and an exhaust stack, a turbocharger for providing a supply of pressurized air to the engine, eductor tubing connected between the crankcase and the exhaust stack for ventilating the crankcase, and a conduit connected between the turbocharger and eductor tubing.
