Curl control assemblies

Examples disclosed herein relate to curl control assembly for use in a printing device having an output for printed media. One such example includes an ejection flap assembly adjacent the output configured to controllably assume a first predetermined position designed to help control a first amount of curl of the printed media and a second predetermined position designed to help control a second amount of curl of the printed media. The example additionally includes a positioning assembly adjacent the ejection flap assembly configured to selectively position the ejection flap assembly in either the first predetermined position or the second predetermined position and an actuator coupled to the positioning assembly that has a latched state that helps prevent movement of the positioning assembly and an unlatched state that permits movement of the positioning assembly. An example of a curl control method for use in a printing device is additionally disclosed.

A media handling device for a printer is provided. The media handling device includes a base structure and an assembly provided on the base structure. The assembly comprises a carrier structure that has a first end that is coupled to the base structure. The carrier structure is coupled to the base structure to move inwards from an original position and is under bias to return to the original position, in order to receive a media sheet during a print operation. The assembly also comprises a set of starwheels provided with the carrier structure. Each starwheel rotates while contacting the media sheet during the print operation.

Structures and methods are disclosed for at least partially forming an image on a media disposed on a platen, directing air from a dryer at the platen, and circulating the air from the platen back to the dryer.

Dryer

An ink supply station for use with a first ink supply and a second ink supply includes a first module and a second module releasably coupled to the first module. The first module includes a first chassis and a first movable member supported by the chassis, wherein movement of the member causes flow of ink from the first ink supply. The second module includes a second chassis and a second movable member supported by the second chassis. Movement of the second member causes flow of ink from the second ink supply.
